Israel’s Iron Dome protects both is really is in Palestinians.

Why?

It protects Israelis pretty obviously by intercepting rockets but are heading for Israeli towns.
It protects Palestinians because if one of those rockets were to land in even a somewhat populated Israeli area, The IDF would have to respond, and not in the extraordinarily delicate way they have been (leaflets, texts, sending troops into Gaza to lead Gazans to safety...)
They would have to wipe out Hamas and take thousands of Palestinian civilians with them.

They would have to do what America probably would have done along time ago. Basically carpet bomb Hamas without any more consideration for the innocents.

THREAD

@bellahadid Bella Hadid, an American model, says there are 7.2 million Palestinian refugees.

That is only true because the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) has a definition of refugees that is different to every other refugee group on the planet.
So according to UNRWA, even though Bella was born in America, she’s considered a Palestinian refugee. Same with DJ Khaled. Same with any other person of Palestinian descent on their father’s side.
In other words, if my wife was in the US as a refugee, and then we had my son in America, he would be considered an American citizen.

My wife has a beautiful story of when she was in college right after the system of apartheid in South Africa fell, but racial tensions were still high.
I won’t tell it. I’ll let her do that, but in a nutshell, she was a leader who had white Afrikaner men as her subordinates. Because of her efforts to meet them where they were, they went from not even sitting near her to being some of her closest friends still today.
She changed how they saw black people. She challenged the way they were raised just by being who she was. They went from denigrating her to giving her their utmost respect.

I’ve heard her tell this story many times, and what I’ve found to be true is this:

Farrakhan can’t both be “an extremely influential figure in the black community,” and “not that impactful because he doesn’t hold any political office.”

Pick one.

And let me help you. It’s the former.

I totally understand why people look to him...
But telling Jews to “leave the man alone and fix your racism” is not only wrong, it’s incredibly arrogant. HE is the one who STAYS having the Jews’ name in his mouth. That’s the ONLY reason why many Jews even know him in the first place.

He needs to leave them alone.
Also, his Jew-hating rhetoric is not only harmful to Jews, but to the black community as well. No one should be filled with that kind of hatred for anyone. It’s poison and because of the trust he has built, it has infected many minds including the young minds today.

Marc Lamont Hill, in response to an incredible article by my friend @HenMazzig, said that the whole notion of 'Mizrahi' Jews is fake and made up to separate from Palestinians.
There are many things disturbing about what Marc said.
Mizrahi is not a made up term to evade Palestinian identity, and it is extremely disrespectful and wrong of him to even suggest that; especially since Jews of Iraq, for instance, have inhabited Iraq centuries before there was such a people called Palestinians.
Same with Iran, Syria, Yemen, etc...
To deliberately twist history like this is not only gross, but evil.
I've posted my friend's article below, but there are also a lot of gems in it that Marc seemed to conveniently ignore...
