Some things to think about:

How many Jews live in areas controlled by Hamas? 0

How many Muslims live as full citizens in Israel? ~1.6M or about 18%

Gaza? Male homosexuality is illegal

Israel? Host largest gay pride period in Asia each year.
Gaza? Illegal to sell land to Jews (punishable by death)
Israel? No religious restrictions on who you can sell land to.

Gaza: Regularly fire rockets at civilians, then use women/children as shields.
Israel: Target attacks on militants and system of bomb shelters for civilians.
Gaza? Married women need a husband's protection to travel. Women's rights severely restricted.
Israel? Women have equal rights in almost every area.

Gaza? Terrorists are celebrated and families often get paid.
Israel? Military members are often prosecuted for abuse of force.
Now which of those places sounds more like a liberal place (In the traditional sense)?

Yet the left consistently sides with one side while taking away any accountability from those responsible on that side.
That's why the left pretends like settlements (= Jews building houses) is a bigger obstacle to peace than the PA and Hamas regularly advocating for and supporting terrorism. It's just silly if you reasonably think about it, but that's their position.
The Palestinians could have their own state tomorrow. That's essentially what Israel set-up when they unilaterally withdrew from Gaza (& destroyed all the settlements there). But Hamas/PA aren't interested in that because then they could not blame their failures on Israel.
Having their own state would mean Hamas/PA would have to focus on improving the lives of Palestinians (who they have shown little regard for) instead of trying to kill Israelis. It would mean they'd have to give up terrorism and be responsible for their own economy.

1st pic is of British mandate, which had Arabs and Jews. 2 was plan to split the mandate, which was rejected by Arab states that instead started a war to wipe out Jews. They lost that war leading to 3 only green area was Jordan & Egypt. They then started & lost another war in 67.
Btw I like how people pretend Israel was the only country formed this way when Iraq, Jordan, Syria etc were all created out of British and French mandates around the same time.
This isn’t remotely true. In 1947, the population was about 1.9M. About 32% of that was Jewish. But Jews made up most of the immigrants that year (for obvious reasons post-Holocaust) so UN attempted a partition that took that into consideration.

This is a really frustrating response I keep seeing. Just because the claim of widespread voter fraud was false doesn't mean there aren't legit concerns about voter security, especially given major changes in election processes that occurred in 2020.
As an example, drop boxes were not common in most states before 2020. They are a good idea, but having a bunch of ballots gathered in one place can be an obvious risk if they are not secured so rules that limit their locations/times to places they can be observed make sense.
Similarly, voter ID is a common-sense measure to ensure that the people voting are supposed to be. Even if voter fraud is not widespread, any illegal votes can cancel out and devalue the votes of Americans. Gov't has a responsibility to prevent that.

Berenson writes a summary thread full of misinformation and idiocy. Just to highlight 2 of the points. It doesn’t sound that frightening when you say Israel now has less than 2 people dying per day from Covid-19 so instead Alex randomly decided to extrapolate the # to US pop.
Now this one, which is his favorite idiotic claim. Not only is it arguable, but it’s 100% false. It is scientifically impossible for mRNA vaccines to cause a spike in Covid. The vaccines do not have the virus in them.
He’s taking data of vaccines starting during outbreaks and pretending they cause the outbreaks bc vaccines take time to work. But even forgetting the science, we know this is false because: 1) The people getting covid were mostly people that weren’t vaccinated.

He’s such an irresponsible a-hole with his just asking questions shtick. A nightly segment of conspiratorial nonsense.

This is like saying 8k people a day are dying in the US after eating breakfast. We can’t speculate how many died bc of breakfast, but raises serious questions.
VAERS is a self-reporting system. We vaccinated all the people in nursing homes first. So when one of those elderly people dies of any cause (car accident, heart attack, stroke, cancer etc), they could have been added in there. Some of those people also died of Covid btw.
And he does this with everything, not just vaccines. Remember how many segments he did “just asking questions” about whether it was really Assad mass-murdering Syrians with chemical weapons only his regime really had access to?

This is a really telling exchange. Some people believe in trying to convince others to make good choices while also recognizing the harm and limits of force. Others believe in abusing government power to force people to do what they think is right.
Btw Tom, as usual, has no idea what he's talking about. He's spewing generalities because he looks down on people who are reluctant to get vaccinated and assumes they all have specific politics. The reality is there are a diverse group & can be convinced w the right messaging.
I know doctors that spend a lot of time convincing patients to get vaccinated now. Most of the people they convince just need to hear it is safe and there are real benefits to it (inc return to normal), they aren't crazy political people. Real-life isn't political Twitter.

We live in very stupid times.

Apparently a bunch of former jeopardy contestants wanted to prove they are complete morons by trying to cancel a current contestant for using the word "Gypsy" and holding up 3 fingers to represent 3 wins.

Again, you can't just change language overnight and then expect everyone to conform to your whims or be labeled a bigot. Furthermore, hand gestures that are common don't suddenly become white supremacist symbols because you & random 4chan trolls declare them to be so. Go away.
It's embarrassing when even Snopes has to tell you that you're being complete jackasses.
