Are we simply going to ignore the fact that scientists lied about the origins of Covid-19? They said that it definitely came from the wild without any evidence.
I am not saying I want them punished. But if we are speaking of accountability, why shouldn't they be held accountable?
Fauci, on record, has done flip flops on masks. Fauci has lied about funding to the Wuhan Institute of Virology. And yet, the media continues to paint him as hero. Not just western media, which are Dem-controlled. But even Indian media!
The Lancet published a bullshit Hydroxychloroquine study they had to later retract. Months later, they are playing politics and blaming political parties for the crisis. And yet, no one bats an eye!
How can scientists be trusted if bullshitters are not held accountable?
Politicians blame each other for playing politics over Covid-19 but the ones that have played pandemic politics the most are scientists and unelected bodies like the Bureaucracy and Judiciary.
We can hold politicians accountable in elections, how do we hold the rest accountable?

Khalsa Aid will start Rocket Langar at Gaza Strip
Any moment now
There's only one way to stop the carnage now. Indian Supreme Court will have to take suo moto cognizance of the Israel-Palestine crisis and pass an order ordering immediate ceasefire.
Only worry is that Hamas and Israelis may pay 1 rupee and continue the Insta Rocket Battle.
Babul Supriyo would have traveled to Gaza Strip and solved the Israel-Palestine conflict once and for all if only Netanyahu could guarantee that his car wouldn't suffer scratches.
People are not taking authorities seriously about masking and stuff because authorities have bullshitted so wildly since the beginning of the pandemic that people think everything they say is proper bullshit.
There were articles in the media, both foreign and domestic, saying that India had managed to avoid Covid because implementation of masking policy. It was proper bullshit, everyone knew it was bullshit. You think people will take masking seriously after that?
Numerous restrictions were placed on Durga Pujo and Diwali at a time when cases were going down. When restrictions were violated, there was endless screeching about impending doom due to the "Covidiots". But cases did not go up, they went down. Bullshitting has consequences.
Now we are in a situation where too many believe, "No, thanks, I will take my chances with Covid."
India has been living under heightened Covid stress since March last year. You expect people to live under constant stress for 12 months straight and still take Covid restrictions seriously? At some point, people will just say fuck it and there's nothing you can do about it.
The Twitter Demography is overwhelmingly from the Ultra Rich, Rich and Upper Middle class sections of society and yet, every policy has been designed keeping in mind the elite sections of this particular westernised elite demography.
The Age of the Aantel is Over. The Age of the Bhodrolok is upon us.
Bengali Hindu politics has always been dominated by Bhodroloks, from the late 19th Century to well after independence. The Aantels took over a couple of decades after the independence era and that era has continued yet. On the 2nd of May, all of that could change.
The Aantels, themselves, are Bhodroloks who have gone over to the dark side. The Bhodroloks, after the set back, have expanded their base and look poised to storm back into power.
Ashok Singhal: His father was in the Indian Civil Service. He got a bachelor's degree in Metallurgical engineering from the BHU. And it was all before he joined the VHP in any significant position. He was not a "subaltern" by any stretch of imagination.
The RSS Chief at the time was Madhukar Dattatreya Deoras. Again, he had an LLB Degree from the University of Nagpur. He went to "New English High School" in his childhood. Again, not a subaltern by any stretch of imagination.
There's tragedy in this world, real tragedy. But there's also beauty and happiness and love and kindness. If you immerse yourself too much in the former, which is extremely easy, and forget the latter, you'll only turn yourself into a force multiplier for the former.
There are many people with very good reason to turn to the dark side. It is incumbent upon the rest of us to help them overcome the monsters within. But in our efforts to empathise with them, we should be careful not to glorify anti-social behaviour itself.
The problem with democratic societies is that they have justified anti-social behaviour as a legitimate manner of voicing grievances. To further complicate matters, such decisions were motivated by political calculations. These violent delights do have violent ends.
