I don't think the Israel realizes they are winning the military battle but losing the narrative war.
Here's an example of what I mean. When Justin Amash says this and isn't ratioed, something has changed dramatically in the Israel-Palestine narrative.

From its founding to, say 2000, Israel was clearly the winner in any narrative war. It's only in the past 20 years that this position has deteriorated, and I don't think any faction in the Israeli gov't realizes how much the narrative losses have accelerated over the past week.
99% of the replies on this thread are on what the Israel-Palestine narrative should be, which is 100% *not* my point.

I'm talking about what the Israel-Palestine narrative IS, and if you don't see how this has shifted dramatically in the past week you're not paying attention.

David Swensen was a giant, as authentic and genuine in real life as he was influential in market life. He will be missed.

We have 3 Epsilon Theory notes focused on Swensen, written by @dsaleminvestor, links to follow.

Here's the latest from the White House on India and Covid ... inane platitudes as they try to walk back the disastrous decision not to allow export of vaccine feeder stocks. Barf.

It's the question I get more than any other from new readers: how do I get into Epsilon Theory?

Or relatedly from more seasoned readers: how do I show other people what Epsilon Theory is all about?
So we're taking the core Epsilon Theory articles out from behind the paywall, organizing them, and making them available for everyone to access in the form they prefer to access them.

We've started with a four-part series from 2018 - Things Fall Apart.

My god.
Covid deaths in India growing exponentially, too, following case growth w/ ~2 wk lag as it always does.

IFR looks to be higher in this new wave, as is the case with most variants.
Airline passengers from India to the US must show a negative Covid test within 72 hours of travel. Given the explosive spread and unknown pathology of the Indian variant I think this is insufficient. I think all flights originating in India should be barred from entering the US.

What’s our political reaction to these Hunger Games?

“The wackos on the left propose insane transaction taxes. The wackos on the right tell us how much liBeRtY we are enjoying by giving Ken Griffin all of our money.”

Burn. It. The. Fuck. Down.
