@IsraeliPM Netanyahu is now LIVE on @FaceTheNation, to discuss this week's terrorist attacks from Gaza. Watch here cbsnews.com/live/ Image
PM Netanyahu: We were attacked by Hamas, thousands of rockets on our cities, and I think any country would do whatever it takes to restore order.
Netanyahu: We are targeting a terrorist organization that is firing at our civilians, while hiding behind their civilians.
The building that was targeted was an intelligence office that organized terror attacks against Israeli civilians. We took precautions and no people were killed.
You have your own experiences in Mosul, in Fallujah, of how difficult it is when terrorists hide behind civilian infrastructure.
When the International community attacks Israel, they're actually encouraging Hamas to continue these attacks. It's wrong and unproductive.
There has to be a measure of fairness, reasonableness, in projecting this kind of criticism. If Hamas moved their command posts out of civilian homes, there wouldn't be any problem.

What would you do if this happened in Washington of New York, you know what you'd do.
Hamas is taking huge sums to build terror tunnels, rockets, they're not building Gaza. They're not interested in any kind of coexistence. Any objective observer can see that Hamas are out to destroy Israel, and not a partner.
I will do what I have to do to protect the lives of Israelis and to restore peace. I've made peace with four Arab countries.

Israel today coordinated a complex operation to transfer humanitarian aid to Palestinians in Gaza. The transfer was hindered by repeated Hamas mortar fire launched at the crossing, in which civilians were killed and injured, and an IDF soldier was wounded

The timeline of events: Image
This morning, the Keren Shalom crossing was set to open to allow for the transfer of humanitarian aid, and the exit of foreign nationals.
There were 40 trucks loaded with food, medical equipment and humanitarian aid on their way to the crossing from Ramallah, Jerusalem, and Tel Aviv, donated by OCHA, UNICEF, the Red Cross and Doctors without Borders. Image

The decision of the Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court not to dismiss the Palestinian case that calls for a criminal investigation of Israelis is unfounded and outrageous. It has turned the ICC into a political weapon waging political war against the Jewish state.
The Court has jurisdiction only in cases brought before it by sovereign States. The simple truth is that there is no Palestinian state and there never has been such a state.
Accordingly, the Court has no jurisdiction in this case and claiming otherwise is a distorted act of legal acrobatics.

It is indisputable that Israel, the State of the Jewish people, has indelible historical and legal rights in our homeland.

Dear foreign journalist, editor, commentator, diplomat, blogger,
If you are planning on covering and/or addressing events at the Gaza-Israel fence on Friday April 6, we urge you to take the time to read the following.
These few points are pivotal elements of the story. It's not possible to understand the events without this context.

#Hamas is a terror org whose objective is the eradication of the state of Israel. This context is crucial to understanding the nature & purpose of current events.
It is #Hamas, not Israel, that is initiating the current clashes; it is Hamas, not Israel, which is seeking to enter the other's territory; it is Hamas, not Israel, who holds the key to the end of the confrontation and violence.
