Tablet has been on the lab leak hypothesis essentially since the start of covid, with some good analysis and zero fears of the dismissive media consensus at the time, which relegated this theory to fringe conspiracists.
April 6, 2020: "Contrary to recent reporting, science does not rule out a lab accident or even bioterrorism." tabletmag.com/sections/scien…
May 6, 2020: "The available circumstantial evidence indeed suggests a lab leak, with the simplest scenario being the leak of a bat coronavirus closely related to SARS-CoV-2 from cell culture or animal model experiments." tabletmag.com/sections/scien…
January 25, 2021: "SARS-CoV-1 had leaked several times from Chinese labs, and there have been hundreds of dangerous leakages from American labs too, including anthrax in 2014." tabletmag.com/sections/scien…
February 17, 2021: "Once the pandemic broke out in the very same city as that lab, the obvious question was whether or not that lab, which specialized in coronaviruses, somehow leaked, or through GoF, created the virus that was causing the catastrophe? tabletmag.com/sections/scien…

Getting word of two rocket hits in Jerusalem area, one striking a community building. Spreading via community WhatsApp groups. Won't say place names because it can literally help Hamas zero their sights.

Looking for a good luthier/guitar repair person in the DMV area. I need a fairly extensive service and I want someone trustworthy. DMs are open.🎸
My guitar has a weird story behind it. It's a Generation X from @warrior_guitars - a limited run of 500 they sold through Sam Ash in 2006 (mine is #002). There's almost no info about it anywhere online, which is also why I want someone good to work on it.
