Jungkook is obviously exhausted as he attempts to escape the media's attention.

He took a left into an alleyway lined with large buildings where he was certain no one would be.

"What the hell," Jungkook says as he tries to catch his breath, "why are they moving god so incredibly quickly?"

Just until Jungkook thinks he's gotten away, he hears a group of reporters fast approaching the location where he's hiding.

The other side of the street is a dead end, and he doesn't have opportunity to move around until the reporters appear.

"Bingo!" He exclaims in relief when he notices a man getting out of a trash container, which is peculiar,

but Jungkook has no choice but to rush over and snatch him abruptly and corner him on the wall with his hands on both sides of the other.

In this situation. He hurriedly removes his leather jacket and bucket hat and threw it somewhere so the reporters won't recognize him.

"I'll give you an autograph later, just don't move!"

Jungkook takes a deep breath, "They're coming!" And he reaches over to give the stranger a long smack on the lips, whilst the reporters emerge.

"Jeon Jungkoo-" a reporter stops as he approaches the two men as they are having a little making out session.

"He's not here; maybe he crossed the road on the other side!"

The reporters eventually dispersed, leaving Jungkook and the stranger on their own.

"What the heck was that?" The stranger pushed Jungkook away, wiping his lips with his sleeve.

"That's abhorrent! I can't believe someone like you is the first person I've ever kissed!!!" the man adds.

"Someone who looks like me!?" Huffs Jungkook, "Do you have no idea who I am-"

A loud gasp interrupted Jungkook's words, as the other sees the royal guards on the lookout, "don't move too!"

Jungkook is now the one being cornered on the wall after the man changes their positions.

The students are currently on a one-hour break, and Prince Jimin, now known as Moon Jimin, took advantage of the time to visit his dorm and meet his roommate.

Jimin has been doing things he's never experienced before, which explains why he's grinning so broadly.

While he stands in front of his dorm door, Jimin reads aloud "Room 17."

Someone hindered him as he was about to knock on the door.

"Moon Jimin?" Jimin is still getting used to his new identity; he's no longer a prince.

"Are you Moon Jimin?" Jimin smiles as he nods.

"I think we'll have to share a room for the next three years!" The guy, who has a boxy smile on his face, exclaims ecstatically.

"Oh! I haven't made any formal introductions. Hello, my name is Kim Taehyung, and I'm from the Euphoria class! Serendipity, it's the class next door to yours."

Taehyung says as they walk down the corridor, "That one is the library."

"Wow, the library is enormous!" Jimin is awestruck.

"And then there's the pool on the other side."

"A pool?!"

"Mhm, and the ladies' dorms are on the other side of this building!" Taehyung continues.

Since they still had some time before their first class, Taehyung gave Jimin a thorough tour of the campus.

"Tae, who's that?" Jimin ponders, intrigued, when he sees a tall man with deep dimples handing out flyers.

"Oh, you mean that?" Taehyung makes a gesture towards the tall man, saying,

"He's Kim Namjoon, the President of the Student Council. He's a wonderful person who is also extremely intelligent. Jung Hoseok, his boyfriend and a dance major, is the other guy beside him." Taehyung goes on to say.

Jimin nods as he takes in everything he's learning today. It's incredible to see real people instead of just his laptop, which he uses for his online classes.

"Hey guys, make sure to purchase the tickets at our official website!" Namjoon says as he approaches the two men, handing them the flyers.

"Tell me everything there is you know about me." Jimin asks, eyes wide, heavy breathing. His face lit up with suspense.

"Can we eat first? We've only just arrived." Jungkook mutters as he bites into his pancake.

Jimin refused to accompany Jungkook solely for the purpose of eating! His heart races as he realizes Jungkook is aware that he is concealing a secret... more accurately, his true identity.

Jungkook proceeds to eat, occasionally stealing glances at the other, who seems uneasy.

"What's the matter with you? Why aren't you eating? If you're concerned–"

"I'm not," Jimin swiftly cut Jungkook's words.

Jimin continues to appear uneasy infront of Jungkook, as if he is having a battle inside his mind full of thoughts and concerns.

"Stop biting your nails," Jungkook says as he presses his palm on Jimin's hand to pull it away.

Their gazes met. They remained in this pose for five seconds before Jimin shifted his eyes away from him.

"Just tell me what you know!" Jungkook smiled unconsciously when Jimin spoke in a whiney tone.

"Okay fine!" Jungkook says dramatically, looking left and right to make sure no one can hear them, "come closer" Jimin obeys Jungkook's instructions.

"I know your secret is..."

Even though it's difficult because there's a table between them, Jimin leans in even closer. "You are..." Jimin's heart begins to race and is on the verge of bursting.

Jungkook concludes, "You are... secretly in love with me." Jimin smacks Jungkook's broad shoulder in a playful manner.

"Jungkook, what the hell!? Quit playing!" Jimin lets out a loud exhale, relieved to be able to breathe again.

All is good! Jungkook is still unaware of his true identity.

"Why? Were you expecting me to say something else?"

Jimin is visibly irritated and has become invigorated, "Tsk! I was under the thought that you discovered that I am the pri–"

Oh crap. He widens his eyes and his jaw drops as he realize of what he was about to say.

Jimin is fortunate enough to avoid nearly exposing his true identity.

"You're a pri? What exactly is a pri?" Jungkook is sincere as he inquires.

Jimin looks everywhere but Jungkook's, trying to find an excuse.

"uh I was about to say that I uhm... I want to be the pri... representative for the upcoming talent show!"

Jimin has no idea what has possessed him as he finds himself traveling to the rooftop to meet Jeon Jungkook. Perhaps he's too hungry, causing him to make a rash decision to meet this man here.

"I knew you'd show up." When the other approaches, Jungkook grins.

The first thing Jimin spotted was a little, cute picnic set-up. It's what he typically sees in movies when the character goes on a date. This one, though, isn't a date.

It's very windy and dark outside, but with the aid of the moonlight, everything is much better to see, and Jimin thinks it's very romantic.

"Here," Jungkook handed Jimin his pasta dish.

"How can I be sure you didn't put any poison here that could kill me?" Jimin quips sarcastically.

"I literally set up a picnic area on the rooftop, and you think I'm planning to slaughter you? Haha!" That remark made them both chuckle.

"I even cut my finger while cooking, look!" Jungkook pouts as he shows Jimin his bandaged thumb.

"What's with all these anyway?"

Jimin thinks it's unusual because Jungkook has been doing odd things to him, and it makes him curious about what the other is intending.

"Nothing, I just like your company," lies... or maybe not? Jungkook feels guilty, as though he's just doing these things to win Jimin's favor.

However, Jungkook has the feeling that he is doing this because he is actually enjoying doing all sorts of stuff for Jimin, and it makes him happy.

Jimin can't help but blush as Jungkook makes those statements. This is the first time Jimin has experienced anything like this, and it's surreal.

The air is unexpectedly filled with silence. It's just the two of them enjoying their dinner, and Jimin declares it to be delicious.

Jungkook is caught sneaking glances and attempts to pretend as though he wasn't staring at Jimin, and Jimin laughs at the other's adorable actions.

"So, Jimin, where are you from?" Jungkook strikes up a conversarion.

Jimin then begins to panic internally, because all he knows is that he has lived in a kingdom his whole life. "country-side." He chooses to say.

and Jungkook simply nods in agreement. "Jimin..." Jungkook mulls about whether or not to tell the other.

"I honestly do know you're hiding something," Jimin then gasps, choking on his pasta.

Jimin was immediately given a glass of water by Jungkook.

"What exactly do you mean by that?" Jimin expresses his curiosity.

"I know you're the prince who's gone missing."

With his heart racing too quick, Jimin takes a loud gulp. He's at a loss for what to do and might as well leap off the building at this point.

"Ha ha ha, that's hilarious." Jimin nervously chuckles, "But uh yeah, I get that a lot probably because I kinda look like h–"

"Park Jimin" And by just hearing that made Jimin want to flee.

"Oh, no! Are you crying?" Jungkook panics as he sees Jimin's eyes well up with tears, "Don't worry, I'm not going to tell anybody!"

Jungkook attempts to calm Jimin down by patting his head, but he continues to cry.

"Please i beg you, don't tell anyone" Jimin pleads in the middle of his crying.

"I promise, i won't"

Jimin isn't going to fib or sugarcoat his emotions right now. He is terrified, although he is relieved at the same time that he and Jungkook are both secured by an unspecified number of guards.

As Jimin ventures outside with a mask and bucket hat that Jungkook gave him to prevent his image to spread he sees a swarm of paparazzi, interviewers, and students following them around,

including his classmates who are currently blocking any student from taking a photograph or video of them, he can't help but feel like a Prince yet again.

No matter how much he despised it, he still misses being everyone's concern and focus, but for the time being, he is content to live as a regular person.

Jungkook must've sensed how nervous the smaller is, prompting him to capture and hold Jimin's hand without hesitation, making Jimin's heart dance and feel warm.

Before entering the school's building, fifteen of the guards took a different route and positioned themselves outside the university, another group of fifteen guards went near the entrance, and ten guards are now left, surrounding Jimin and Jungkook.

"Are you all right, pumpkin?" Jimin thinks that's a cute nickname. He grips Jungkook's hand firmly in his and nods, "Yep!"

The sun is setting, and almost all of the students have returned to their dormitories.

Jungkook now feels secure and more comfortable to walk freely because the paparazzi and interviewers are no longer around.

He instructed his personal guards, who had been with him and Jimin throughout the day, to remain in their van while Jungkook inspects the campus to look for Jimin.

The campus is almost empty except for the janitors and other professors wandering about, greeting and smiling at the idol.

He also yells "Jimin!" At times as he opens every door he comes across in search of the younger; Hoping the prince hears him.

Jungkook's wariness swept away when he heard the familiar man's distant laughter echoing down the hallway. He didn't waste any time and immediately followed the sound he was hearing, which forced him to turn right.

A burning fire of envy breaks out in Jungkook's heart and his mouth goes dry as he sees the sight of some dude with his arm wrapped around Jimin's waist with an ugly sly grin, who's walking with one leg while he puts a very dramatic sound of pain, while

Jimin aids him with walking and his arms also curled around the guy's nape to support the stranger.

They are absurdly close to each other, and Jungkook can't help but clench his jaw, resenting the fact that the two seem to be having a good time looking at their painted smiles.

Jungkook then decides to approach the two, and Jimin waves once he sees Jungkook.

"Kookie–" a broad arm lifted Jimin by the waist, removing his attachment from the stranger, causing Jimin to let out an involuntary gasp.

Jimin has now his face hidden on the other's neck, while Jungkook's arm, that is circled around his waist like a side embrace, allowing the two to feel each other's skin.

The prince attempts to drive the other away because they are TOO close to the point they feel each other's heartbeat, but Jungkook refuses to let Jimin away from his touch, allowing him to draw Jimin tighter to his chest.

"You seem to be capable of walking to me..." Jungkook raises an eyebrow at the man who can magically stand on two feet again.

"oh, Jungkook! He is Taemi—."

"I don't care who he is, and I don't care who he is." Jungkook expresses himself bluntly.

"Listen to me buddy, Jimin is mine, so don't even think about touching him. Do you get it? Now get out of my sight!"

"Hello lovely" is the first thing Jimin heard when he first opened his door, revealing Jungkook.

He can't help but feel giddy as a blush forms on the smaller.

Jungkook had Jimin put on his bucket hat to cover his face in case a paparazzi was lurking nearby.

He makes a point of opening the car door for Jimin and guiding Jimin's head into the car so that it does not hit its head.

Music fills the atmosphere as the two men ride, putting them in a good mood. In the midst of it, Jungkook simply can not help but stretch out his right hand to Jimin's, interlocking their hands as Jungkook drives.

Jimin laughs at the other's unexpected cuteness of behavior.

"What are your preferences for a beverage? would you prefer: coffee, tea, or me?" Jimin chuckles as Jungkook jokingly said that to break any awkward tension they are having.

"I'll have a cup of coffee!"

"Alright, coffee it is! Your Majesty" In a teasing tone, Jungkook said.

"Stop! Someone might hear you!!" Jimin whines as he laughs.

Jungkook nears Jimin and rubs his arms, saying, "You don't have to be worried; we're the only ones here. You are free to move and behave as you please."

Jimin is delighted of Jungkook's treatment towards him. He's relieved that he can be himself with someone who won't criticize him. Jimin is grateful for Jungkook's presence.

"Shall we eat now, yeah?" Jimin nods enthusiastically as Jungkook guides him to take a seat and place the food on the table.

"Did you prepare this?"

"Yes, Your Majesty!! If it's not good then YouTube is responsible for everything."

After their delicious lunch, they ended up arguing over who should wash the dishes.

Since Jimin is a prince, Jungkook insisted that he just sit down and relax. Jimin, on the other hand, protests that because he does not want Jungkook to be overworked.

Jimin takes the dishwashing sponge to ensure that he will be the one to clean, but Jungkook is too stubborn to let go of the sponge.

Jimin then devised a plan to distract the other by tickling him, but it failed miserably. They've become a laughing mess as the two men continue to argue,

prompting Jungkook to straddle the prince in order to prevent him from taking the sponge.

This caused both of them to stop moving because they're so close to each other, their chests against another.

With their eyes locked on each other, heavy panting fills the silence. Jimin then smiles inadvertently again at their predicament.

"Do you find this entertaining?" Jungkook speaks in a low tone with a smile. He can't help but notice Jimin's lips while their faces are so near together.

"Are you attempting another kiss right now?" Jimin smiles slyly.

"Perhaps?"

Jungkook leans in slowly and gently, his eyes closed, ready to seize the Prince's lips, but Jimin was too quick to dodge it, kissing Jungkook on the cheeks instead.

"As I previously said, let's take things at a more leisurely pace."

And Jungkook gives a bemused and dumb smile.

Because of the volume of the award, the whole country is more driven than ever to find the missing prince.

"Don't go out in public. Simply stay at the university and in your dorm; if you need to buy anything outside of the university, please let me know, okay?"

Jimin nods, aware that they must be extra vigilant and cautious now that everyone is on the lookout for him.

"Is it okay if I ask, Jimin? But I'm curious as to why you..." Jungkook tilts his head, expecting the other to understand.

"I just feel..." he pauses, taking a deep depressed breath before continuing, "Frustrated? Grandpa has been very strict with me and all the

duties I have to do. It's almost like I'm expected to live this way."

Jungkook simply nods and focuses his attention as he lends his ears to the smaller.

"Don't get me wrong: I am grateful for what I have, and I understand that other commoners are possibly in a worse position than I am, but I want to live freely. Jungkook, I just exist, but I've never lived. Living is the most valuable commodity in the world; others merely exist."

Jimin's elegance, as well as his compassion in his heart, astonishes Jungkook. He's knowledgeable and emphatic on both sides. Through his eyes, he sees that he loves his grandfather unconditionally, so why is it selfish to want to do something for your OWN happiness?

Everyone in Hillford is aware of how wonderful the prince's heart is, as the media portrays him as a perfect and flawless individual.

Despite never being able to communicate with the commoners, talk in an interview, or simply be outside the palace to live his young life, Jimin remains the King's devoted and loyal grandson.

For the first time, Jimin is venturing out into the real world rather than being confined to his colossal castle, which is brimming with expectations, judgmental eyes, and sadness.

For the first time in his life, he is doing something for himself.

Jimin wants to say that they aren't really dating, despite the fact that the public believes they are due to Jungkook's assertion that they are.

Taehyung is an all-around fantastic roommate, not only because he treats Jimin like a prince because he does the majority of the work,

but also because of the honesty and compassion with which he treats the blonde.

"How was your day?" While watching tv, Jimin leans his head on Taehyung's shoulder.

"Hmm, nothing particularly noteworthy... Oh, by the way, I found something in your pocket while doing laundry!"

Jimin straightened his stance after Taehyung handed him something that turns out to be the royal amulet.

No words came out of his mouth, he's evidently scared that Taehyung now knows his real identity. He then slowly raises his head to meet Taehyung's gaze, as if expecting him

to say something.

"What's the deal with that face? Isn't it not yours?"

"No i mean yes i mean it's mine yeah yeah" Jimin stutters. He observes what Taehyung will say next, imagining various situations in which Taehyung will confront him, but Taehyung remains quiet and simply smiles at him.

That's strange.

"Tae, do you have any idea what this is?" Jimin inquires cautiously.

"Hmmm, not really, but it does look expensive; must be a gift from your parents?"

That's odd. Everyone in Hillford knows that this type of amulet is only owned by the royalties. No, Jimin should put his trust in Taehyung; he may be too preoccupied with his part-time jobs to know anything about the royal amulets.

The rehearsals are finished, and the day's activities are over. Jimin is exhausted, but it's a different kind of exhaustion, because he gets tired of all the preparation and learning royal duties back in the palace, but he's exhausted from school today.

He's heading back to their dorm with Taehyung right now.

"Jimin, can I be completely honest with you?" Taehyung talks as they begin to walk in a slow phase.

"Certainly! What is it, exactly?"

"I don't think you should be with... Jungkook."

"What do you mean?"

"Jimin, he's an idol, a celebrity... and you haven't even heard of him nor you were aware of his existence before. Who knows, you could be one of his playdates." They stopped walking.

"What i'm trying to tell you is that, you shouldn't trust anyone that easily especially he is an idol. He have different personas off and on cam and it's hard to find which one is the real him. I care about you, Jimin and i know how hard you cried after a fan of his exposed you."

Jimin felt a thunder of sadness hits him with the thought of this. Taehyung is right, what if Jungkook is just using him at who knows what for.

Jungkook attempts to reach the other, but Jimin takes a step back, refusing to let Jungkook touch him.

"Taehyung has my phone, and he told me not to check my social media because it could harm my mental health."

"Jimin, listen. You don't have to be extremely worried about the palace tracking you down. They've already stated their position on false information, and

I don't think they distinguished you as the missing prince." Jungkook says, barely audible because he doesn't want the other rooms to hear what they're discussing.

"Please, Jungkook, just leave me alone."

"Baby, I care for you; please allow me to look after you."

"You're concerned about me? Or do you simply need me in order to win the talent competition? All was revealed to me by Taehyung."

"Jimin, I'm not sure where he got that information, but believe me when I say that I was absolutely honest with you the entire time."

"Maybe you let it happen the day we went to the carnival because you're sure some of your fans will see us. Perhaps you truly want to expose me."

"Jimin, Taehyung is messing with your head. He's portraying me as the bad guy in this situation, but I promise–"

"Goodbye," Jimin says as he shuts the handle, causing Jungkook to scream in agony as the door hits his toe.

Jungkook dashes out of the shower, ready to confront Taehyung, who has painted him as the bad guy in Jimin's eyes.

However, as soon as he exited the bathroom, he clashed with another person.

"Jimin! I'm so sorry; are you hurt?" Jungkook assists in lifting the prince after he fell due to the impact of their bump, but Jimin refuses to take Jungkook's hand and stands alone.

"Wait a minute, Jimin!" Jungkook grabbed Jimin's arms to keep him from leaving, but he quickly let go because he didn't want the smaller to hate him even more. "C-could we please have another talk?"

"No," Jimin turns away from Jungkook, then pauses to face at him once again to add something "If you're worry about losing the talent show, then don't be. I'll still join you onstage. It seems that you put in a lot of effort to earn my trust and favor."

It has been four days since the two men stopped talking. Everyone at university is well aware of the conflict between the two. Cold air fills the air whenever Jimin and Jungkook would walk pass by each other,

No one is brave enough to ask what happened or even discuss it on Twitter, not even in the gossip room. Everyone stayed silent and let their eyes judge the situation.

They're only two weeks away from University Week, and Jimin continues to practice with Jungkook, despite the fact that they don't behave like they used to around each other.

Jimin would simply have a casual conversation with Jungkook about their performance and that would be the rest of it.

Jungkook, on the other hand, has been disheartened after Jimin shut him down. For the time being, all he could do was stare at Jimin from afar and wait for him

to safely arrive at his dorm, while Jungkook remained in his car, refusing to leave until he sees Jimin inside his dorm, safe and sound.

In silence and from afar, Jungkook continues to protect Jimin.

Jeongyeon plans to speak to Jimin, but it's difficult to time it right since Taehyung is always around the blonde.

But when she spots Jimin alone in the library, she seizes the opportunity to strike up a conversation with him.

"Hey Jimin?" she asks softly, not wanting the librarian to kick them out. "May I have a word?"

Jimin agrees, and they take a seat in the corner to finally talk, and Jeongyeon jumps right in, "Jungkook's a jerk, huh?" This makes Jimin laugh.

"But even though I loathe his guts, he goes out of his way for you Jimin. I'm not a nosy person, but I feel compelled to inform you that even though you two aren't on good terms, he makes sure to reserve you a strawberry milk because he knows that's your favorite."

He tells us not to direct the air conditioning against you because he is aware of how quickly you get cold, and he stays at school to watch you get into your room before he leaves."

Hearing those details from Jeongyeon almost brought Jimin to tears. Is he even acting correctly at this point? He has no idea anymore.

He appears to be occupied by his thoughts throughout the day, oblivious to the fact that the day is nearly over. He entered his room and found Taehyung mopping the floor.

He's too depleted emotionally and mentally to even acknowledge his roommate. He went straight to his room, hopped into his bed, and lay down to his comfort, closing his eyes in the hopes of feeling better.

Jimin's room was suddenly invaded by Taehyung, but Jimin was too weary to face him.

"Jimin, here," Jimin then sat down from his bunk to see what Taehyunf has with him.

It's his phone.

Since the day he was publicly exposed on Twitter, Taehyung has kept Jimin's phone away from him. Jimin didn't mind or even find it suspicious since Taehyung was very vocal in his reasons.

"Why are you suddenly handing over my phone to me?" Jimin inquires quietly, intrigued by the other's shift in demeanor.

"It was really yours to begin with. Go ahead and send a message to Jungkook. I don't like it when you're miserable." Jimin then gladly accepts it when Taehyung hands him the phone.

He arrives at Jungkook's house after a 15-minute ride. He flings open the door and is met by the sight of Seokjin descending down the stairs.

"Where is he?"

"I'm able to wean him off the liquor. He puked a while ago, so I already washed him up. He won't stop wailing and crying upstairs in his room–"

A loud bang was heard triggering Jimin to dash upstairs to check on Jungkook, with Jin trailing him from behind. It isn't the first time Jimin has been here, so he knows which door to open.

"Jungkook!" Jimin exclaims in a seriously concerned tone as he sees the man with his back leaning againts the side of his bed, scowling and shattered,

Seeing Jungkook like this ripped Jimin's heart.

"Is t-that you, J-jimin?" Jungkook stutters in between sobs, his eyes half open and his body exhausted under the influence of the alcohol.

Jimin hums as he nods running to Jungkook hugging him tightly, and with this Jungkook breaks down even more.

"I'm so sorry, i didn't mean using you like that. I really don't want to lose you, Jimin please"

Jungkook turned Jimin around to face his back and wrap his hands around the prince's waist while he rests his chin on the smaller's shoulder from behind. "I'm so sorry, let's not fight–"

Jimin captures Jungkook's bottom lip in between his. It took Jungkook a second to process this but when he realized this is really happening, he finally sobers up allowing him to deepen the kiss by slipping his tongue in when Jimin allows him to.

It's dizzying. It's amazing.

They stay in the same position when they do it, Jimin turning his neck to the side and Jungkook meeting him halfway.

In between kisses, tears run down on their faces, feeling mixed emotions of happiness and sadness.

Finally, they're home. They are each other's home.

Jimin remained on Jungkook's arms for the rest of the night after their intimate kiss, the idol spooning him and making sure there's no distance between them.

The whole night, Jungkook kept whispering "sorry" and "don't leave me" while pecking the prince on the ears, shoulder, and neck.

All of that happened last night feels almost surreal, but waking up to just see Jungkook beside him made Jimin relax and happy that he wasn't just dreaming those scenarios in his mind. Everything really happened.

Jimin intends to prepare breakfast for the idol, as the other always do it for him.

He attempts to slowly detach Jungkook's arms off his body so that he can leave the warmth of the bed, but a hand grips the prince's waist even tighter, causing him to bounce back on the bed.

Jungkook tightens his grasp on Jimin, unwilling to let him go. "Where are you going?" the idol asks, his voice hoarse and deep from the morning.

"I was thinking of making you breakfast." Jimin says softly, snuggling up to Jungkook's chest for warmth.

"I thought I was just imagining last night's events." Jungkook sighs gratefully with relief, "I'm glad you're still here,"

Jungkook leans back his head to get a clearer view of the prince, cupping the smaller's face and admiring him as he memorizes every aspect and detail of its face.

"It's been a while since I've seen your face up close." He says this as he rubs Jimin's cheeks with his thumb in a circular motion.

"I'm really sorry, baby. Please believe me when I say that my feelings for you are

genuine. I'm no longer interested in the talent show. I just need you in my arms right now."

Jimin leaves a smooch on Jungkook's chin, under his lips. "I trust you, kookie; I swear I'm not going anywhere." They linked their hands, "I am all yours, Jungkook,"

Jungkook gives a brief smile in response to the other's words, then quickly withdraws his smile, eyes wide open.

Did he heard that right? "Wait, what?" He takes a seat right away.

"Didn't you hear it?" Jimin frowns.

"No no, i-i did." Jungkook's heart is on the verge of exploding, does this mean they're– "Are you saying we're t-together now"

Jimin nods full of enthusiast.

Jungkook begins to feel a wave of adrenaline rush through his body "No, I-i'd love to!" As they both lay down, Jungkook felt strong and energized enough to lift and place Jimin on top of his body.

"You, too, are mine." Jimin then pulls Jungkook's shirt and kisses him on the lips, that are warm and soft. They kissed lazily, savoring each other's tastes, and Jungkook couldn't help but smile in the middle of it.

"Oh, my goodness. You purchased a car?" Jimin approaches Taehyung, who is seated inside the vehicle,

"That's why I was about to message you earlier. Actually, I'd like to have you as my first passenger!"

"Oh, Taehyung!!" Jimin jumps in excitement "I'd love to!"

Jimin exclaims, his joy sincere for the other. The prince is aware of how hard-working Taehyung is working at his part-time jobs. He's simply pleased that Taehyung's efforts have paid off and he gets to reward himself.

The adventure begins with music blasting; Jimin and Taehyung bopping their heads to the beat.

They appear to be having a fantastic time, and Jimin feels like he is actually living the good life. He has a boyfriend, a trustworthy friend, and classmates who he consider as family.

"This car seems to be very expensive!" Due to the extreme loud music, Jimin raises his voice to be heard by Taehyung. "You have no idea how happy I am right now!! Whooo!!"

Taehyung would cast sidelong glances at the other, who ought to be having a great time with the music. With the air reaching their faces and sun setting creating a golden hour effect, Taehyung can't help but love the feeling of freedom.

Growing up without any privileges or good fortune and having no one to call a 'family' it was a very lonely world for Taehyung.

But because of Jimin, he seeks solace and understands what it's like to be cherished and appreciated. For the first time he felt what it's like to have someone ask about your day, to have someone wait for you to come home & to have someone who actually sees your worth.

As he steal glances at the other, an unconciously formed smile appears on his lips.

After a few more miles, the two men found themselves in an open field with a smattering of trees, grasslands, and

a distant view of the sky and mountains, with the sun nowhere to be seen and night approaching.

"Wow, this... is spectacular!" Jimin's eyes twinkle as he takes in the breathtaking scenery. "We should have a picnic here next time!" He adds.

They are both sitting on the lawn, admiring the view while having a fun and fascinating conversation about whether or not alternate universes exist or if soulmates exist. Those two are clearly enjoying each other's company.

"I think it's getting late, Tae. Jungkook must be on his way back" Jimin says while the two men are currently lying flat and stargazing, "I can't contact him since there's no signal here. We should leave right now, I think–"

The two men are forced to stand up from where they're lying as the sound of a vehicle approaching was heard. Weird, Jimin thinks. A van and 2 cars are currently facing them.

The person who exited the vehicle first is–

"Taemin?" Jimin is perplexed as to why Taemin is aware of their location. Oh, Taehyung must've invited him... wait no, no, no... The royal guards began to disembark from the Van, making themselves visible to the blonde.

The prince began to gasp for air deeply, his eyes trembling, unsure of what to do. They all formed a circle around him and Taehyung before a man in a suit finally exited the car revealing his self to the prince.

Mr. Choi.

Mr. Choi has become the king's most cherished and faithful steward. He has been with Jimin since he was a kid, teaching him and guarding him and the prince's only companion growing up.

Jimin slighly opens his mouth, as though he's about to say something, but no words come out.

"Taehyung, I appreciate it." Mr. Choi finally breaks the silence, and Taehyung can only bow at it.

Hearing Mr. Choi say Taehyung's name made Jimin swung his head to face Taehyun, giving him a strange look as to why do they know each other.

Why does Mr. Choi appreciates Taehyung, what is he thanking him for? Was he the one who requested that they come and get me? Is it possible that the person I thought would be there for me has deceived me?

Jimin's mind is flooded with emotions and questions.

"Taemin, go get Taehyung and bring him home." Mr. Choi gives the order.

"Yes dad."

Dad? Is Taemin Mr. Choi's son? Does this imply that Taemin was aware of my true identity all along?

Jimin's gaze tracked Taehyung and Taemin as they made their way to the car in which he and Taehyung were riding. The car was apparently never Taehyung's; it's Taemin's, and he must've let Taehyung borrow it to easily make Jimin to come here.

He was a traitor. I was deceived by Taehyung. He lied to me.

This has been planned from the beginning. All this time, he knew.

"Your Highness." All of the royal guards, including Mr. Choi, bows down to Jimin.

"The king is waiting for you. Now is the time to depart from this place and go back to the palace.

Jimin's eyes begin to well up with tears. He has no options but to surrender to their demands.

"Jungkook!" Jin straddles to prevent Jungkook from running away. He hugs him and tries to drags him to his car, but Jungkook is too tough to be halted.

"Please, Jungkook. This might trouble you. Let's go home, hm?" Yoongi struggles to speak while contributing in the loading

of the idol into the vehicle.

"N-no," Jungkook cries "I need to see him, please," With tears streaming down his face, he pleads desperately. With all the pain of emotion he feels, Jungkook then falls to his knees,

crying and pleading for his romantic happiness. He longs to see Jimin, to feel his hug and touch.

When he collapses on the ground, everyone who is endeavoring to get him to leave loses their grip on the idol.

They gave him room, forming a small circle around him to prevent paparazzi from photographing the idol.

Jungkook is in shambles, weeping while on his knees, while Jin and Yoongi can't help but feel awful about it.

Because of his frustration, Jungkook grabs his hair and pulls it. His heart anguish is excruciating, and he is finding it difficult to breathe.

"Mr. Choi, I said I won't be eating," Jimin whines as he lies sideways on his bed, away from the door, with a blanket draped over his body and face.

"It's Grandpa," Jimin was jolted by the king's voice, but not enough to shift around and face him.

"Jimin, speak openly to me." Although the prince harbored a grudge against the king, he was not a disrespectful grandson, so he sat up straight and unveiled his face.

"What do you need, pops? Even though it was against my will, I did that public interview the other day."

Look at me, son." Jimin refuses, but eventually obeys the king's command. "You haven't spoken to me since you returned home."

"Well, what precisely do you want me to say? Investigate as to how Taehyung informed you of my whereabouts?" Jimin expresses himself crudely and

with a bitter tone.

"You were never reported by Taehyung when we announced the award price." Hearing this information brought happiness to the prince's face, as he had not expected to hear it.

"I've known you since you were a baby, Jimin. I know all there is to know about you.

I already knew where you were and what your goals were when you were missing for the first hour." Jimin continues to listen as his grandfather explains everything to him.

"That is why I never publicly stated or discussed the issue; I let you enjoy and live your normal life

because it would be the first and last time."

"How about that five-million-dollar reward?"

"I knew I had to do something because after you were exposed by someone on Twitter, I've read a lot of inhumane comments about you and I couldn't let them hurt you like that, so I realized I had to do something.

Knowing you, you'd stay hidden when you learned that the entire country was looking for you; this would prevent you from going out in public where you might be attacked. I believe the five-million-dollar reward worked because it forced you to confine yourself to one location

where no one could harm you. Taehyung was there to keep an eye on you and make sure you didn't look at your phone so you wouldn't read their negative comments."

Hearing all of this, Jimin weeps.

"Jimin, Taehyung has always been sincere with you. It's just that I forced him and Mr. Choi to do things in order for you to return." The king continues.

"Pops, how come I can't live outside the palace a-and live a regular life like the rest of the commoners?"

he cries between sentences.

“Son, I am aware of how strict I was with you as a kid. But, Jimin, you can't really blame me. Since your father and mother died in a car accident perpetrated by commoners, I've known I needed to protect you in order to keep you safe

and avoid what happened to your parents.”

"Pops, I'm not going to end up like them.” At my school, pop, I've met a lot of great and entertaining individuals, and I genuinely enjoy going to school. Pops, please. I swear I'll be a nice grandson and study hard in school.”

"Jimin, I'm dying.” Hearing it, the prince was bemused. “I'm not getting any younger & I'll hand up the crown and the responsibilities to you. You're the Park's only son and are destined to govern the kingdom. That is why, since you were eight years old, I have been training.”

The prince sighs and continues to wail. He isn't going to see his lover any longer. Soon, he will be entrusted with the responsibilities of a king, including his Grandfather's disappearance. It's all too much to bear.

“I've heard of Jungkook, the idol."

The king brings up the idol to heighten the tension between them, especially since he brought up his death. “Mr. Choi informed me that Taehyung desires this as a reward. Not for money, but to let you see Jungkook.” Jimin's eyes widen when he hears this, his heart racing. Is there

a chance he'll see the man again?

“What is he to you, Jimin?”

“Everything. When I'm with him, pops, I feel secure.”

“Jimin, you are the light of my life. Of course, I'd want you to fulfill whatever aims you set for yourself in life before you're saddled with the responsibilities of a king in the future.”

"Are you sure, Pops, you don't want to come inside?" As they parked in front of the campus, Jimin asks softly. The red carpet for the prince's arrival has already been laid out by the royal guards.

"Jimin, you go ahead and perform. Take in the show and speak with Jungkook afterwards." Jimin's hair is caressed by the king. "However, we must depart immediately following your performance. All right?"

"Yes, pops,"Jimin expresses his gratitude by hugging the king. "You're the best!!"

Jungkook sets to take the stage alone, without the presence of the other. He was reminded of the prince as he climbed the stairs to the stage. He misses him terribly.

When a sudden open of the stadium door attracted everyone's attention, Jeon Jungkook paused on his walk to check who it was.

Everyone gasped for air when they saw the man in the entrance slowly approaching the stage.

As Jimin approaches the stage with his eyes locked on Jungkook, a lot of murmurings can be heard. Murmurs like "moon jimin" and "the price is here" can be heard.

When the prince eventually stands in front of the stunned man, a smile appears on his face as he approaches

the idol. Jungkook senses he is hallucinating since the one he has yearned for is finally in front of him.

"We can't let you perform alone alone, can we?" With a sweet smile on his face, Jimin said nearly in

hushed tones. Since they are in front of the students, he tries not to cry and maintains his composure.

Jungkook stutters as he gently approaches the prince's hand, eventually feeling him. "Is this true? I'm not dreaming?"

"I'd like to give you a hug right now to convince you that this is real, but we're on stage with a lot of people watching us, so shall we perform now?" They both giggle as they realize they are being watched by thousands of students.

The music began to play, and they started performing what they had been practicing prior to Jimin's return to the palace. The prince moves his body, allowing the music to rule him and his emotions to the point where he can't help but tear everytime he sees Jungkook,

who is dancing with vigor and a smile on his face.

Everyone in the audience cheered for ecstasy and happiness for the two lovers as they finished their performance with a hug.

They returned to the backstage immediately, accompanied by two royal guards who were assigned to Jimin's security.

Jimin then used this opportunity to hug Jungkook, letting his body sink into the idol's, feeling the warmth of his touch and smelling his scent.

"Baby, I've missed you so much," Jungkook sobs in their embrace, his grasp on the Prince tightening as he refuses to let him go.

"Me too, baby. Me too"

One of the royal guard clears their throat reminding the two that they are still there. "Your Highness, i believe we have to depart. The king is waiting outside."

"Are you leaving?" Jungkook begain to feel apprehensive, "Baby, don't" With his eyes, he pleaded.

"I'm sorry, but I have to," The royal guards then began to distance the two from each other.

"I swear, kook, I'll find a way to get back to you!" Jimin murmured in a distant voice as he was forced to leave the location.

Jungkook's heart is hammering, his palms are sweaty, and he's biting his bottom lip. He's simply frightened while waiting for the king on the couch.

He is the first commoner to be invited into the palace by the monarch. He looks around the room for the prince, but he is nowhere to be found.

"Glad to see you here," the King said, motioning Jungkook to rise and bow down.

"It is a privilege, Your Highness."

"Jungkook, please take a seat." Hearing the king utter his name gives him shivers. A lady servant then entered the room and offered them tea and cakes.

"Jungkook, I'll get right to the point as to why I invited you over."

"I am listening, Your Highness."

The king took a sip of his tea before speaking. "On Jimin's birthday next year, I'll hand over the crown to him. This indicates that he will be the new king of the realm."

Jungkook is unsurprised because everyone in Hillford knows that the day will come when the king will hand over the throne to the Parks' one and only child.

"Do you want my grandson, Jungkook?"

"Your highness, I adore him."

Hearing this, the king laughs. "Jungkook, you're 21 years old. You're clueless when it comes to love."

"My heart only screams the name of your grandson, Your Highness. I found peace and comfort in him, even if only for a brief moment."

"That's what Jimin told me as well. Before I abdicate the throne, I intend to look for another princess or prince to marry Jimin.

He must have his first lady or first gentleman for it is the rule."

Jungkook takes a big gulp. He doesn't want Jimin to marry anyone. He can't let it happen, but he doesn't have the right to protest because it's the regulation. At this time, he feels defeated.

"However..." The king speaks prompting the idol to raise his gaze to meet those of the king.

"Jimin is extremely important to me. As his grandfather and as a king, he's been incredibly loyal to me."

Jungkook licks his lips, his heart knocking his chest. He hopes the king would give him a chance.

"You said you love Jimin"

"Yes your highness. Very much" Jungkook stated full of eager in his tone.

"Is that love enough for you to marry him?"

Jungkook was taken aback by this. He adores Jimin and believes that marrying him would be the greatest treasure he could ever possess. But, at twenty-one, he believes it is too soon to marry.

"I love Jimin, Your Highness. I sincerely believe this, but marriage is a serious matter. It's not something you do for the sake of having fun–"

"Are you implying that you don't want to make a commitment?" The king cut jungkook's words short.

"No, your Majesty, what I meant was that I'm not prepared. I want to marry Jimin when I'm mentally mature, emotionally stable, and physically healthy. He means so much to me that I don't want to let him down; I want to be worthy of his love, your highness."

The king smiles and nods before setting the cup of tea on the table and rising. "That's the response I was hoping to hear from you," the king said softly as he began to clap. "Jungkook, you are a man. You did a fantastic job."

Jungkook feels like his stomach is doing different flying stunts. Hearing the king commend and clap for him is a completely different form of success.

"Don't let me down, Jungkook," the king says as he extends his hand for a handshake. The idol then reaches out and lovingly shakes the king's hand. "Your highness, I will not."

The door burst open, displaying the sight of the Prince, who's wearing a large grin and a pink warm blush on his cheeks. His eyes are full of devotion and joy. as he looks at Jungkook.

He then began to sprint and jump towards Jungkook, hugging him tightly and placing his legs around the idol's waist. "I'm so glad you answered correctly, baby."

While the smaller is straddling him, Jungkook detaches himself from their embrace and continues to support Jimin's thighs. "I know every right answer when it comes to you, sweetheart," he says, his gaze fixed on the prince.

The two tentatively lean in to kiss each other's lips, but the king clears his throat, reminding them that the king is still present. "we still have rules to follow, okay Jimin and Jungkook?"

And the two men exchange joyful nods.

"Hello, gorgeous," Jungkook greets the prince as his doorbell rings, presenting his boyfriend. "you're lucky grandpa let us have our 'date' at your house." Jimin hugs Jungkook in response.

Outside, the royal guards surround Jungkook's house to keep them secure and protected, yet it feels like it's just the two of them inside. They enjoyed a wonderful dinner date. It was their first dinner date, and it was arguably the finest date they had ever had.

They were laughing and having a good time, and every now and then they would pause in the middle of their conversation to glance at each other and admire one another. They're simply grateful to have each other.

Jungkook and Jimin are currently enjoying their leisure time on the couch, listening to music in the background. Jungkook puts his cheek on the other's shoulder as the prince leans on the other's torso. Jungkook is a large spoon who makes Jimin feel very warm and at ease.

Jimin then shifts his weight and faces Jungkook, who is still sitting. The prince wrapped his legs around the other's body and slowly cupped the idol's face, bringing him into a quick peck, "I love you," another peck, "I love you," another peck, "I love you,"

"Finally you said those three words," Jungkook sighs, drawing Jimin closer to him. "More of those words, kook, are owed to you. Every day, I'll tell you those three words and tell you how much I adore you."

Jungkook can't stop cooing at his baby, so he cups Jimin's face in his hands and pulls him into a long, gentle kiss. They savored each other's flavor and felt each other's soft lips slowly.

"Jimin, I love you."
