A place to let down your hair and talk unabashedly about all things menstrual cycle

Come for info, come to share, or come to vent - we've all been there!

This week on Cycle Talk....
How long did it take for your period to return to normal after getting off of birth control? What kind was it?
What are some of the way the you know you are ovulating? Do you take your temp?
How often do you have a "bad" period? How do you handle it?
Do you work until you drop or allot time off around your period?

LOVE the content about sex coming out today! @misfitpursuit & @fiercelyfeminin are on fire

While I don't adhere to waiting until married, I have always equated sex with love

This mindset will drastically reduce the number of "complicated/dramatic" relationships
These push/pull, on/off relationships are poison to a hearty and loving soul

Not to mention counter productive and distracting

There is a reason when ever religious text boasts modesty and discernment when choosing a partner:

It is vital to our evolution and integrity
When you know yourself, you will know what, who and when sex is right for you

It can be a vacation affair or the first time with the love of your life

But it will never be because it's an escape from reality, fulfillment for an empty soul or giving into pressure

You need to talk to your kids about sex often

It needs to be a comfortable subject in the house

Talk about the emotional, physical, consequential, energetic and moral aspects of it

Sex is not good or bad but it is a big deal

They need to know that
In my family, we talked about sex often. It wasn't a big deal. It would just sometimes come up as conversations professed

This was WAY DIFFERENT from most of my friends who had "THE TALK" once and never discussed it with their parents again

Not me and my bros
My dad talked about sex from the Bible, from the text books and from the news stories

We got all perspectives

No, we didn't talk about sex all the time. We just didn't avoid the issue

As a result all three of us kids have healthy sex lives and attitudes toward sex
