Paul Halsall started it b/c he couldn't stop himself from saying racist things @ me & other BIPOC medievalists in medieval FB groups. He got kicked out. The group includes Rachel Fulton Brown. Academic medievalists have been talking & liking her comments there for years. 3/

Things like the announcement for the Trans Travel Fund & statements about solidarity from SMFS to our transgender colleagues after the NC bathroom bill in a medieval studies group (since I was secretary of SMFS & in charge of communication). A moderator erased those posts. 6/
