📈 Official data shows values in March jumped 11% year-on-year – beating the national average growth rate of 10.2%, which in turn was the fastest pace of growth recorded in nearly 14 years
🏡 But where are buyers battling most ferociously to secure their dream homes?
The market town of Wrexham, on the English border, is the most in demand area in Wales. There are 18.8 buyers for every property.

The hotspots are primarily concentrated to the north of the town, between Wrexham and Chester, such as Rossett, Marford and Gresford
Properties in Conwy and Gwynedd, which take in Snowdonia National Park attract 17.6 buyers for every listing.

Demand is particularly strong for seaside properties in Deganwy, Conwy, Llandudno and Penrhyn Bay.

The coastal resort of Abersoch is “top of the tree”
In Cardiff, each sale so far this year drew in 13.2 buyers for every listing.

The neighbourhoods of Pontcanna and Canton are popular, along with the suburbs of Lisvane, Whitchurch and Cyncoed. The Victorian seaside town of Penarth is also in high demand
