1. President Biden. We express our concern about the announcement of the White House spokesperson (Jen Psaki). Colombia urgently needs an independent investigation, either by the U.S. Government or by the IACHR.
3. This is because the Attorney General. Francisco Barbosa is a personal friend and fellow student of the genocidal President Duque, and the corrupt Ms. Margarita Cabello in charge of the Public Ministry was part of Mr. Duque's cabinet (Minister of Justice).
4. The Prosecutor Barbosa, was part of Mr. Duque's campaign, which was financed with money from narco-paramilitarism(Mr. Guillermo "Ñeñe" Hernández personal friend of Duque),without Barbosa having verified any criminal investigation according to audios collected by judicial police
5. Mr. Ernesto Camargo in charge of the Ombudsman in charge of human rights is a corrupt official and also has training and indoctrination at the Escuela Superior de Guerra (Colombian Army).
6 Those people and those internal bodies of Colombia do not give guarantees of independence and impartiality and the serious violations to #HumanRights are increasing day by day, the #IACHR is necessary and urgent.
7. From April 28th to today there are 51 deaths, more than 500 disappeared (young protesters), who apparently following tactics of the Sinaloa Cartel and paramilitaries (AUC) are being thrown into rivers and 20 women victims of sexual abuse
8. Police truck throwing bodies, presumably of missing youths, into the Cauca River.
9. Despite the refusal to give consent to the IACHR of the Vice President and Foreign Minister Marta Ramirez with links to the paramilitary Mancuso & with relations with the drug trafficker Guillermo Acevedo alias Memo Fantasma, there is a new request from the IACHR to visit COL
10. Ms. Ramirez announced the sending of specific information requested by the #IACHR on the protests and invited to conduct the working visit after the ex officio public hearing on #HumanRights situation in #Colombia, which will be on #29June at the 180th Period of Sessions.
11. That time gives the Duque government the possibility of altering verification scenarios, evidence, and figures, as Mr. Barbosa has already done when he was Human Rights Commissioner.
12. Thus, the precedent it sets is extremely serious because it limits the possibility of human rights verification in a context in which Colombia's control bodies are not functioning.
13. This is what the IACHR said to facilitate the visit to COL: "The #IACHR condemns the serious human rights violations in the context of the protests in COL, rejects all forms of violence and reiterates the importance of the State honoring its international obligations. #HRD"
14. Colombia has evaded U.S. controls on HR & restrictions on U.S. assistance (collaboration) to police (ESMAD), which also violates U.S. anti-monopoly laws (U.S. SEC).
15. In fact, the Duque government through the Colombian Police urgently concluded on May 7, 2021 a contract with the Brazilian company CONDOR for COL$ 7.757 million for the purchase of ammunition and tear gas grenades.
16.
17.
18. CONDOR S/A has also sold weapons to the Venezuelan government of Nicolás Maduro, as evidenced by this legal document in which a multimillion dollar transaction is made for the purchase of ammunition for its armed forces
19. President @JoeBiden, in Colombia there is no system of checks and balances, so the control bodies, led by the aforementioned corrupt, are structured to ensure impunity, not for nothing the soldier or police officer has the perception that he will never be criminally punished.
20. The world already knows about the excesses of the Colombian police: "From rocket launchers to shots in the back: videos of excessive police force in the protests in Colombia" EL PAÍS (SPAIN). elpais.com/internacional/…
21. The Senator Leahy @SenatorLeahy and Representative McGoven @RepMcGovern have spoken out on the matter.
22. Suspiciously, former members of the Autodefensas (paramilitaries) created by Mr. Álvaro Uribe Vélez have been re-recruited. Paramilitaries are shooting young people in the demonstrations. caracol.com.co/emisora/2021/0…

President @JoeBiden. The U.S. Ambassador to the OAS should demand from Mr. Luis Almagro an OAS and IACHR verification of the grave violation of Human Rights in COL. The Human Rights have no ideology and it is a bad precedent with respect to demands to Venezuela and Bolivia.
