These aren’t groundbreaking strategies. The strategy is well known military grade psyops technology exposed by Carole Cadwalladr @carolecadwalla in her Cambridge Analytica exposé.
There is no mystery. It’s just the use of private data analytics to discern who’s vote is undecided, and then inundate those undecided voters with a plethora of propaganda, disinformation, coercive marketing of candidates, amplification of false scandals of their opponents.
This is done on both ends of the political spectrum to pull as many votes away from moderate political parties, using multiple mediums like email, text, Social Media, snail mail, YouTube, and personal door knocking, etc. It’s called micro targeting. And it’s a form of Psyops.
Why? Because most people fall within the moderate range. Roughly 60% of any given population is moderate.
20% on either end of the spectrum are naturally more radical and extremist.
Split the progressive vote, consolidate right leaning moderates to vote conservative.
It’s called the Finkelstein Method.
It’s how Trump won the 2016 presidency. It’s how Brexit was secured. It’s how the right plans to continue to win elections. And why CPC rhetoric continues to remain negative and toxic.
Art Finkelstein used statistical calculations to determine a path to electoral victory for minority conservatives for Nixon’s first presidential win in 1968. That method has been refined and tweaked for decades. Perfected, refined, fully studied, and is used globally by cons.
The only thing newer that has been added is the individually aggregated personal data of voters.
Cambridge Analytica took personal data from Facebook. Aggregated and analyzed it to determine the personality traits, political leanings and individual vulnerabilities of voters.
Hard core conservatives defined stodgy and stubborn. Dyed in the wool Liberals are not going to change their minds.
It’s the fence sitters that make or break every election.
Knowing specifically who those individual fence sitters are along with their entire online personal data, complete with known and current vulnerabilities, has changed the game in political campaigning.
Why waste valuable time on those who have their minds made up? Focusing entirely on the undecided voter is a clear path to minority electoral victories.
But cons do require the support of the radical left. Therein explains the rise in left libertarian populism.
The strategy is to split the progressive vote between multiple parties and consolidate the conservative vote under a centre right banner.
The dominant progressive party is inundated with smears and scandals, using drugs, sex or corruption.
That way, many liberals who sit on the fence between moderate liberalism and more radical forms of socialism are pushed to extremism. Given multiple options (3 or more) and progressive electoral victories are statistically reduced.
Perform the same smears and scandal propagation on the other end of the liberal tent, in right leaning liberal territory, and consolidation of the conservative vote occurs. Pushing 20% fringe support closer to 40% which would be the maximum cons can consolidate.
This method to “manipulate” elections has nothing to do with beliefs or values. It’s purely a numbers game. It’s not exact, but statistically raises the probability of electoral wins for conservatives.
This is why we have a minority Liberal government. And partly why I know the JWR scandal was manufactured 10 months before the 2019 federal elections. And why Andrew Scheer bragged about winning the popular vote (like that matters in Canada).
It’s also why Jagmeet Singh celebrated a loss of 40% of his parliamentary seats. He actually gained power by securing a minority government. I’ve always wondered if his running mates were ok with being sacrificed.
Canadian cons already know how to do this. So what’s the newest technology they’re importing?
Micro targeted liberal voter suppression through demoralization. Alternate reality radicalization, infiltration to commit political sabotage & use of a “BIG LIE” strategy.
More extreme Finkelstein strategies.
Finkelstein Method strategy is already negative campaigning on steroids. More extreme versions are like adding methamphetamine to the mix.
You know those MPs who’ve been amplifying Q’Anon rhetoric? Well get prepared for Marjorie Taylor Green (MTG) level rhetoric.
Get ready for more whistleblowers on Liberals. And accusations of voter fraud, compromised institutions, and corruption.
That’s what O’Toole just hired.
The big guns. And Kinsella thought he was the bad guy. Ha!
These folks are actual professional saboteurs with the most advanced technology.
Canadian politics is about to get crazier than it’s ever been.
Creating legislation to address this highly unethical behaviour is required to make it illegal.
It’s like shooting fish in a barrel. Or hunting at night with bright lights.
An unreasonable advantage.

I’m fuming. The utter condescension and contempt for education professionals by UCP is repugnant.
However, I am not surprised in the least that a conservative lackey was brought in to “endorse” the curriculum under so much public pressure to scrap it and start again.
UCP is busy boasting about the glowing endorsement by a BC teacher who wishes ever so longingly that he could use the proposed curriculum instead of the inquiry based curriculum BC has adopted. Mr. Formosa is a teacher. He even has a Masters in Education. Impressive.
But, and there is a but, Formosa is also a conservative activist. He’s a young impressionable millennial with firm ideological beliefs about right and wrong, good and bad, evidence and faith, and politics.
He’s an Anti Choice advocate that led his Campus “Pro-life” organization.
In the next month, the Alberta UCP plans on removing all covid restrictions.
This WILL result in a fourth wave and exponentially more deaths and long covid.
Do we plunge into plague or work together to prevent this inexplicable policy?
I’m assembling evidence to help make that decision and pinning it on my Twitter feed.
Attached are a selection of newer and older threads that document the UCP agenda, beliefs and values.
My hope is that anyone interested in knowing more about UCP and the paleolibertarian/anarcho-capitalist/Dominionist agenda they are currently installing will take the time to read.
What the public does with it is beyond my control. But this is my contribution to the decision.
I have an aversion to opinion writers who harp on the LPC inability to get climate legislation in place.
While I don’t advocate violence, I’m figuratively smacking a few of these people upside the head because they refuse to recognize their own actions and the impacts.
Ambitious political leaders opportunistically dragging those who don’t understand how royal assent of legislation works down the garden path to support PR and minority governments.
@ipoliticsca Why is it that climate advocates don’t realize that a minority government is a weakened position to implement these measures?
Do these opinion writers not understand how legislation is made in Canada? Do they not understand the limits our constitution?
@ipoliticsca I don’t believe they do. Or if they do, they’re actively confusing those who don’t for political gain.
Provinces hold purview over natural resources in Canada.
The Supreme Court basically just ruled that the federal government has jurisdiction to reduce carbon outputs.
@ipoliticsca Until that SCOC decision, several premiers blocked any meaningful legislation because of ideological values contrary to climate change reality.
But the door is now open for feds to implement some of those policies and measures to stave off climate catastrophe.
Merrick Garland is not covering up Bill Barr’s behaviour as attorney general. It’s far more likely that the evidence will be used during investigation of Barr’s dealings while USAG.
It’s also considerably more likely that Garland is fighting the judges orders to preserve the Department of Justice’s ability to use their own discretion about revealing sensitive information.
