Earlier today, our sporting & indefatigable Executive Secretary, #NCDMB, Engr. Simbi Kesiye Wabote (@wabote_simbi) FNSE, commissioned the Gymnasium Facility for Staff of the Board situated within the Nigerian Content Tower (NCT), Swali, Yenagoa, Bayelsa State.
“The welfare of staff is key, hence the unisex Gym facility comprising varying equipments for different exercises as well as an area for group exercise, necessary to keep members of staff fit & healthy.”

The Executive Secretary, #NCDMB, Engr. @wabote_simbi FNSE, while speaking at the commissioning of the Gym facility said he hopes to see all staff utilize the gym so as to keep fit, stay healthy and working together, the Board can deliver on its mandate.

UPDATE:

The Oil & Gas Trainers Association of Nigeria (@OgtanOrg) led by its National President, Mazi Sam Azoka Onyechi today, May 27th 2021, paid a visit to the ES, #NCDMB Engr. Simbi Wabote (@wabote_simbi) FNSE at the Nigerian Content Tower, Swali, Yenagoa, Bayelsa State.
The purpose of the visit was to familiarize the Board with the new @OgtanOrg leadership, & to intimate the Board with progress made on the 7C’s of Categorization, Certification, Compliance, Collaboration, Competence, Curriculum & Cost effectiveness given to @OgtanOrg by the NCDMB
The @OgtanOrg president in his remark commended the ES @wabote_simbi & the Board for the Nigerian Content Tower noting that “Here today is a fantastic edifice that reckons with any building anywhere in the world resulting from astute management, diligence & hard work.”

Earlier today, the ES NCDMB, Engr. @wabote_simbi rep by the GM, RSD NCDMB, Mr. Abdulmalik Halilu via zoom, participated and delivered a speech at the closing ceremony of the NCDMB GSM Software, Hardware and Entrepreneurship Training in Bekwarra/Obudu/Obanliku, Cross-River State.
While delivering his speech, the ES NCDMB, Engr. @wabote_simbi rep by the Board’s GM on RSD, Mr. Abdulmalik Halilu said “I’m delighted to make this address to you on your graduation today as the beneficiaries of the NCDMB GSM Training Program in Cross-Rivers State”.

Earlier today, the Executive Secretary NCDMB, Engr. @wabote_simbi represented by the General Manager, Research, Statistics & Development NCDMB, Mr. Abdulmalik Halilu flagged off the NCDMB GSM Repairs Training program for 500 youths in Bauchi State via Zoom webinar.
In his opening speech, the ES NCDMB, Engr. @wabote_simbi ably represented by the GM RSD, Mr. Abdulmalik Halilu, disclosed that this GSM repairs training of 500 youths in Bauchi State is under NCDMB’s empowerment training programme for the North East.
He highlighted that the Board’s mandate requires the development of local talents, facilities and assets that supports oil and gas operations and it’s linkage sectors including the ICT sector.

The ES Engr @wabote_simbi ably represented by the Director Planing, Research & Statistics, #NCDMB, Patrick Obah, disclosed that this event is geared towards developing human & material capacities in the Nigerian Oil & Gas Industry, which is one of the key mandates of the NCDMB.
"The Board sponsors this annual contest in order to create Local Content awareness among our vibrant youths and to make them advocates of Local Content Practice which is critical to sustainable development of our local economy, job creation and National Security" - @wabote_simbi
@wabote_simbi hopes that all Contestants past and present, would continue to champion Local Content advocacy in Nigeria. The Board is Happy with the increase in the level of participation in the Essay Contest from across Universities in the country.
