I just learned, that a husband of a good friend, has issue with me. He claims that my opinion of Trump leaves no room for debate from anyone else.

He’s wrong. I always listen to the other side of someone’s opinion, even his. I just don’t agree with his.

My good friend is a woman I met just a few years ago. We have much in common and her political views are similar. I “assumed” that she was married to someone who had similar views.
I always felt safe to speak when asked my opinion.

That he supports The FG, hates Gavin Newsom, kept in check by his wife. We rarely discuss politics, but when it comes up I’ve always provided my opinion if asked. I never knew he was a supporter of T. He never gave it away

But now, I’ve been told, that he has issue with my politics.
Now I’m not sure how to move forward as I enjoy my friends company and my hubs golfs with this guy.......
I don’t want to give up a friend b/c of her hubs.....
Any ideas?
