A public school teacher who became a millionaire and retired at age 40?

Is that possible?

Here's how @creation247 did it

/THREAD/
@creation247 I had the honor to host yesterday @creation247 on @TwitterSpaces on the first episode of my new series "Road to F.I.R.E."

We talked about his journey to early retirement

Here are the main things he did to achieve this
@creation247 @TwitterSpaces 1.The right mindset

He didn't follow what society considers a normal lifestyle

He focused on the big expenses

Moved to another house closer to his work and sold his Mustang

He didn't think he deserved luxuries unless his cashflow from investments could pay for it
@creation247 @TwitterSpaces 2. The right partner

He had a partner who was on board with changing their lifestyle

They were saving and investing 60% of their combined income every month

They led a minimalistic lifestyle focusing on increasing their net worth
@creation247 @TwitterSpaces 3. The right hustles

Leveraged his writing skills to write killer copy for ads to flip products on craigslist

That extra money went also into his investment accounts

He was not relying on that to retire early

But the more extra income, the sooner he could reach FIRE
@creation247 @TwitterSpaces 4. The right investments

He put 80% of his investments in "safe" vanguard index funds

The other 20% went into asymmetric bets giving him high returns on the capital he could afford to lose
@creation247 @TwitterSpaces 5. The right network

By creating a Twitter account, he created a network of individuals with great skills and a similar mindset for creation and business

Some of them are

@SteveOnSpeed
@SaveYourSons
@thedankoe
@OneJKMolina
@Psypreneur
@waronweakness
@creation247 @TwitterSpaces @SteveOnSpeed @SaveYourSons @thedankoe @OneJKMolina @Psypreneur @waronweakness He leveraged that network and connections went he turned his Twitter account into a money-making personal business

These people contributed to the creation of his products and added even more value to them
@creation247 @TwitterSpaces @SteveOnSpeed @SaveYourSons @thedankoe @OneJKMolina @Psypreneur @waronweakness 6. The right choices

He didn't aim for quick growth and engagement

He differentiated his account from all the other platitude accounts that you see by the dozens on the timeline

By using aesthetics and high-quality images he created a unique brand with long-term growth
@creation247 @TwitterSpaces @SteveOnSpeed @SaveYourSons @thedankoe @OneJKMolina @Psypreneur @waronweakness 7. The right product

He created the right product for the right audience

Not just an ebook on how to grow on Twitter

But a guide on how to become a better creator and a clearer thinker

Create 24/7 has been the best guide in the market since its release
bit.ly/34oR5zO
@creation247 @TwitterSpaces @SteveOnSpeed @SaveYourSons @thedankoe @OneJKMolina @Psypreneur @waronweakness 8. The right service

After getting feedback from people to create an engagement group he said "NO"

What he did instead was to create an online community of social media experts and creators
@creation247 @TwitterSpaces @SteveOnSpeed @SaveYourSons @thedankoe @OneJKMolina @Psypreneur @waronweakness Instead of giving his audience the fish to eat

• Shoutout lists
• Artificial engagement
• Formulas to grow an audience

He gave them the tools and taught them how to fish

• Better content
• Better thinking
• Better branding

@creation247 @TwitterSpaces @SteveOnSpeed @SaveYourSons @thedankoe @OneJKMolina @Psypreneur @waronweakness 9. The right time

Next month, he is retiring from his 9-5 job as a public school teacher

He chose the right time to retire

At 40, with plenty of time and energy to enjoy life and focus on his passion projects

And not at 65 sitting on a couch waiting to (officially) die
@creation247 @TwitterSpaces @SteveOnSpeed @SaveYourSons @thedankoe @OneJKMolina @Psypreneur @waronweakness TL;DR

1. The right mindset
2. The right partner
3. The right hustles
4. The right investments
5. The right network
6. The right choices
7. The right product
8. The right service
9. The right time

Sung Kook Hwang immigrated to the U.S. from South Korea in 1982 and took the English name Bill

He attended U.C.L.A and earned an MBA at Carnegie Mellon

After working as a salesman in securities firms he got an analyst job at Tiger Management in 1996
Tiger Management was a prestigious fund led by legendary investor Julian Robertson

The first $100,000 is a bitch

8 things I did to get my first $100,000 after college and how you can do it too

/THREAD/
1. Lived like a student

After graduating college, I kept living like a student

No, I don't mean eating microwave ramen noodles and frozen food

It means not buying a brand new car that most people do as a "gift" to themselves for graduation
2. No lifestyle creep

Regardless of any salary increases, I kept the same spending habits

My budget has remained constant all these years

This has allowed me to accumulate more in savings during the first years

The future of employment will never be the same after the pandemic

Here's what you need to know to stay ahead

/THREAD/
I have been working 100% remotely for more than a year and will continue after the pandemic

During that year I have made several observations that gave me great insights into what the future of employment will hold

Here are some of my thoughts and predictions
1. Flexible Schedule

You will set your own schedule as long as you

• Meet the deadlines
• Satisfy client needs
• Communicate timely and effectively

The 9-5 is officially dead

9 Traits of Rich People

How many do you have?

/THREAD/
1. Discipline

Getting rich isn't as sexy as many think

It involves doing a lot of boring and repetitive things every day

Rich people don't rely on motivation to get things done

They do daily what broke people do occasionally
2. Action

Everyone has goals and makes plans for the future

The difference is that the ones that get rich, are the ones that act upon them

Planning without acting is just daydreaming

Inspired by @OneJKMolina's ghostwriting threads for some big Twitter accounts, I decided to ghostwrite 15 tweets for @naval

@OneJKMolina @naval 1.

Having a job that's easy for everyone makes you expendable

Having a job that's easy for you makes you irreplaceable
@OneJKMolina @naval 2.

Measure the value you create, not the hours you work

You are a mental athlete, not a factory worker
