The Kelowna accord was a $5 billion @liberal_party agreement to improve the quality of health and education for Canada's First Nation's Peoples. Stephen Harper and Erin O'Toole's Conservative Party canceled it in 2006, immediately after they took office.

Quick thread here where as National Citizens Coalition President, Stephen Harper (who is idolized by Erin O'Toole) in 1994 speech to American Republicans explains to us all what Canadian Conservative Reform Partyism really is, and I QUOTE..
1/ 'you (American audience) are probably more knowledgeable about Canada than most Canadians.' (denigrates Canadians)
'Canada is a Northern European welfare state in the worst sense of the term, and very proud of it ' (denigrates Canadian Parliamentary democracy) ..
'
2/ 'don't feel bad for unemployed. They don't feel bad as long as they're receiving generous social assistance and unemployment insurance.' (kicks the unemployed in the head)
''the Senate not very important in our political system' (Denise Batshit Bananas Batters; 'nuff said)
Canada's Conservative Reform Party is and always been based upon promoting a destructive Trickle Down economic system of inequality and prejudice founded on (Straussian) deception, as such it really has no place in today's society. Their real goal is to establish an aristocracy.
2/ And because Canada's Conservative Reform Party goal is aristocracy, economic inequality and regressive taxation are requirements that they use to achieve it. The logical extension is clear; Reform Party Conservatism in Canada is the very antithesis of democracy #cdnpoli
3/ To sell their anti-democratic views the need for deception becomes apparent; how else to get the public to buy in? This is why narratives are cooked up; government is 'bad,' investing in community good is 'socialism,' and anyone opposing conservatism is a 'radical.' #cdnpoli
