"If you often overthink read this: "

🧵THREAD TIME: 👇
1. Thinking too much leads to paralysis by analysis.

It's important to think things through, but many use thinking as a means of avoiding action.
2. Don't get too deep, it leads to overthinking, and overthinking leads to problems that don't even exist in the first place.
3. You don’t have to see the whole staircase, just take the first step.
4. If you treat every situation as a life and death matter, you’ll die a lot of times.
5. To think too much is a mental disorder.

Get help from a psychologist.
6. The cause of overthinking for most people is anxiety.
7. Your brain has too many tabs open..close them.
8. The more you overthink the less you will understand.
9. Worry is like a rocking chair: it gives you something to do but never gets you anywhere.
10. When you’re thinking and thinking about something then ask yourself:

Will this matter in 5 years? Or even in 5 weeks?
11. Direct your focus fully outward instead of inward.

Two good ways to get outside your own head are:

1. Help someone else out.

2. Exercise.
12. If overthinking becomes a way to procrastinate or to not face the fear of getting out of the comfort zone you’re in the small step it.

Find just one small or tiny step you can take to move forward. One small action that takes 1-5 minutes.
13. Just realize and accept that you can’t control everything.

To Prepare and plan are helpful but going overboard with it isn’t.
14. Stop stressing, take a deep breath and relax. At the end of your entire life is going to be okay.
15. You're loved.

What Are Mental Models? 🗺️

We cannot keep all of the details of the world in our brains, so we use models to simplify the complex into understandable and organizable chunks.

Mental models are how we understand the world.
They shape the connections and opportunities that we see.
The quality of our thinking is proportional to the models in our head. 🧰

The more models you have—the bigger your toolbox—the more likely you are to have the right models to see reality.

"10 Reasons Why You Fail"

🧵 THREAD TIME: 👇
From each failure, we learn two equally valuable lessons. One, that there was at least one reason we failed; & two, that we can rebound from that failure.

In the following you can find the 10 most important reasons why you fail in life & what you can do to be successful instead.
1. Lack of Persistence

More people fail not because they lack knowledge or talent but because they just quit.
