Winning is a number game and this starts with a "dare to dream" mentality.

This June, I want you to do one thing. Just one thing.

And it starts today

Write down 5 service-based businesses you want to work with. By service-based, I mean those businesses with physical
locations. This ranges from Plumbing and HVAC to painting, window and gutter cleaning, and religious organizations.

If you notice, you will see I didn't include businesses like Chiropractors, Attorneys, and dental clinics. These are high-tickets. The probability of getting
a new client who needs freelancers is low. These guys draw and hire people during or before the new year (between October and December).

So back to our task, write down these businesses and target at least 200 businesses in the US, Australia, and the UK.

I will suggest Australa
And the US as your priorities.

Go online and Google search these companies. There will be a directory for each niche/business. Write down their names.

The next step is to go to Facebook, search for each of these businesses and notice their marketing. Write down how you can
help them.

Onward

This is where it gets interesting as we want to ensure we are targetting the right prospects. Go to LinkedIn, search for these businesses (it will be a company page), navigate to where you see employees, LinkedIn will show you some of their workers that
are on the platform. Add them as your connection. Check their activity to see their interests and mutuals.

Match their activities to their Facebook presence to come up with a lapse in their marketing campaign. Doing this, you will come up with something unique to each business
Writing your first line during cold email becomes easier.

If you target at least 1000 prospects, send cold emails to at least 500, you are so sure of receiving at least 10 responses if your offer is weak (could be more if you have a strong offer).

Let's assume you price your
Offer for $500 and you close 5 deals.

$500 X 5 is $2500 (A million naira given the current exchange rate).

Nothing will come if you don't knock the door. You might meet a big elephant in the room if you knock. The decision is yours.

Cheers to a June of possibilities

Although, I have held numerous zoom sessions on different freelancing platforms including Fiverr, Upwork, LinkedIn, Instagram and Craigslist (not sure there is any freelancer who understands all these platforms), this thread focuses on using LinkedIn's job features
I have seen people who posted links to hiring and recruiting platforms here, leaving people on what they should do with it. If you don't have a direct link (or referral) to a job, why promising people you have one? Fortunately, you can do this through LinkedIn and I will talk
About this.

Whether you are a freelancer or job seeker, it's essential to understand LinkedIn Jobs. They are so important that @LinkedIn has a separate tab for it. The updated mobile app allows users to apply for jobs using the full functionalities of the feature from their

Fiverr 101

This thread will reduce your trial and errors, increase your earnings, and make you a successful freelancer
1. Look at what other people are selling in your niche. Run the numbers. Search for the keyword but there's a number game here. Any service that already has more than 30,000 freelancers is a NO-go-area
2. Use long tail keywords.

Your title should have long tail keywords. "I will write SEO article or I will be your SEO article writer" doesn't cut it. "I will do SEO article writing for personal finance coach". I will design amazing logos for real estate ".

I made $21 in my first 6 month on fiverr as a freelancer

I did receive many requests from buyers but as a newbie, I struggled with the art of selling

Some of the real-life principles (not tactics) I used. I actually copied it from some people. Why re-invent a wheel?
I knew my potentials. I could see something better, something greater. I knew this freelancing of a thing is for me. I knew, I knew that I would make money from freelancing. But I can make stupid money If I up the way I sell.

During my visit to Abuja, I learned something from
a customer representative of Arik Air. My flight was scheduled for 7am but I sleep a lot. You see, I can see for 23 hours from the total 24 hours a day. The doctor said it's not normal but mehn, I enjoy it.

Onward

I sha missed that flight.

Why you struggle as a freelancer (Almost everyone struggles with Number 3)
1. Looking for Eight-figure companies to work for

You probably will never work for an eight-figure company throughout your freelancing journey (It's not a curse) because the big agencies have snapped up the last one you could work with
Starting as a newbie, I preferred working with small companies. I enjoyed working directly with the decision makers and not have to lose sleep over working with 12 layers of management. Moreover, you will get paid faster but you also risk not getting paid at all
