Spotted this loving tree just above Beauchief golf course.
Day 2 #30DaysWild peace and tranquility forest bathing in the magical Jack Flat woods.
Day 7 #30DaysWild found 3 tiny (probably ) Vernon oak seedlings in the garden long grassed area and Chicken of the Woods in Bushey Wood. Thank you Ms/r squirrel or jay who planted them. Will pot them up next time it rains.
Day 8 #30DaysWild fantastic display of fox and Cubs in this Dore verge 👏 👏
Day 9 #30DaysWild walking a little away from our usual stomping ground inspected newly planted trees at @HallamCC , visited @WildSheffield Wyming Brook. Pink Purslane along the way.
Day 10 #3ODaysWild sketching with Vernon oak @SAVEDORETREES around Woodthorpe, with cow parsley on our backs. Plus some very welcome accidental seeding of ragged Robin from my garden.
Day 11 @30DaysWild hurrah at last I’ve found some orchids! 6 very near home.

More grass verges in S17 oxeye daisies near Totley Rise shops. 👏 👏
Day 13 #30DaysWild elderflower and dog rose today from fabulous walk with @SAVEDORETREES onto Blacka Moor, we saw a pair of pied flycatchers too.
Checked out the day 11 orchids and found 24!
More orchid hunting to follow.
Day 14 #30DaysWild watched the giant tortoises frolicking at Bank view farm, amazing how quickly they can move and enjoyed these foxgloves on the way to @GillfieldWood
Day 15 #30DaysWild went up towards Woodthorpe Hall to view @salthepoet ash tree ….looking good Sally 🤞🏻
Day 16 #30DaysWild one of my favourite #Sheffield 17 oak’s this wonky cantilever tree over the stream in Bushey Wood. It’s a little high off the ground but looks like a great place to sit.
Day 17 #30DaysWild another walk around @GillfieldWood sheep enjoying the benefits of ancient hedgerows and irises.
