Samskaras with Agni:
Among the three agnis one is called garhapathyam & it belongs to the lord of the house, Grihapathi in this garhapathya kund (mud pot)which is in circular shape.Sroudhagni should be burning all the time. No home is done on this 1/4
directly .Agni must be taken from it & tended in another kund for the performance of rites relating to pithrus( not the shraddha but the pitru Karma done during amavasya etc.,) & also for doing homam for small Devadas. Since this kund of Agni is kept in South it is called 2/4
Dakshin Agni & it is semi circular in shape .Offerings to deities are made generally in the third Agni kept in the east which is called as Ahavaniyam & the agni of which is to be made from the Grahapathya Agni. In the north any yaga is called as havan, the word derived from 3/4
Ahavaniyam. The Ahavaniyam kund is in square shape .Big Yajnas like somayagam and others meant to satisfy devathas are to be conducted in the Agni taken from the Ahavaniya kund to the yagasala. 4/4.

Samskaras with Agni:
I have said earlier that we should not grade between Shruti & Smriti .Similarly between Gruhya karma & the srautha karma also no differentiation to be made. As per our sanathana Dharma, which is being called as Hindu religion 1/5
now, both are to be treated like two eyes. The Aupasana Agni made during the marriage need to be divided into two parts in a ceremony called Agni aadhanam. One part is called Gruhya Agni (or smarthagni) for doing rites pertains to Gruhya karma. The other part is called 2/5
shroudhagni meant for doing sroutha karmas. Then these agni must be preserved throughout. In this Gruhya Agni is called as aupasana Agni & Aupasana is performed everyday in that .This Agni is in the same kundam (pot ) & hence called Ekagni. The kandam which describes about 3/5

Marrying at young age concept:
The marriage Samaskara has manifold purpose. One of the important purpose is to ensure purity in mind for women by creating an attachment in her & to her husband. With such attachment they will find redemption. Like 1/5
how brahmachari by surrendering himself to Guru ,attains purity of mind, women also surrenders herself to her husband. The reason for our Karma & birth are due to the activities of the mind. To satisfy the desires of the mind one indulges in various activities which results 2/5
in earnings since thus births and rebirths. If mind is still ,then there is no Karma and therefore no rebirth and one attain moksha. But it is very difficult to make the mind still .Even though one is not able to make the mind in still state but if the mind is dedicated to 3/5

Marriage is Upanayana for women:
According to Shastras the bride should treat her husband as both Guru & Eshwara & surrender her heart to him. She will be able to adapt to such an attitude then.Wholehearted surrender and samarpanam is the bay 1/4
to liberate oneself .The concept of surrender as proclaimed in the charama sloga of Gita, if done to Ishwara, Guru or husband is enough. Iswaran will give his Grace through the one to whom the surrender was made .According to the system devised by the sages, a boy is made to 2/4
surrender to his Guru at the time of his upanayana ceremony, while a girl does the same to her husband at the time of her marriage. It is not that the girl is considered inferior and asked to surrender to a man (that is her husband). The boy too is asked to surrender to a 3/4

40 Samskaras:
Paradise is the place where happiness is always experienced by senses & mind .All the time happiness is present there .But a difference exists between the joy experienced in paradise & the bliss experienced by the person who 1/5
realises himself. It is true that there is eternal happiness in paradise but not for the person who go over there because that person will not remain there permanently .If he earned a good deal of puniya, as a result of which till he gets a good jenma in the earth, he will 2/5
be able to remain in paradise. When he has enjoyed the fruits of his meritorious actions in paradise, Eswaran will make him to reborn in the earth. It is true that in Puranas it has been stated that there are people who earned a great deal of punyas became there was to 3/5

40 Samskaras:
Worldly life is mixture of both joy and sorrow. Some experience more joy. Some experience more sorrow. There are few rare individuals who can control the mind and keep smiling even in the midst of sorrow. There are many of us 1/4
who despite having many things to feel happy but keep cribbing without any satisfaction. If there is a complaint then it is sorrow only. All human being wants to be happy only .There are only two places where happiness is prevalent all the time. One is heaven and the other 2/ 4
one is athmajnana ( state of awareness of the self ).The athma is bliss. It is the Brahmam is what Upanishad States. If this is known then it is everlasting Joy .But this happiness is not the one which can be experienced by mind or the senses. It is the most exalted state 3/4
