What's the Roam42 of other apps? What other tools have Jumpnav, SB features, etc.? #roam

I've had problems with some of my general toolstack lately (eg. calendar/booking problems, tasklists) and am on the prowl for that mouseless productivity 👀
(Shoutouts to the one who designed the keyboard shortcuts for Twitter, I love blazing through this site quickly at times 😂)
I found this, looks pretty interesting vimcal.com
Oh sweet they're on Twitter, hello there @vimcal! Looking forward to trying this out 😄

Random #toolsforthought ideas:
A markup tool with the Adobe Photoshop interface

Editable layers with export function, freeform drawing, MD and block level support, all on one canvas
The search bar/function for my knowledge graph but as a standalone app on my laptop

Great suggestions for alternative hashtags in the threads, always happy to push them :)

I’ve noticed it as well recently, eg @roamhacker pushing for #roam instead of adding in cult. Happy to hear what the citizens of @RoamResearch think!
To clarify: I didn’t mind the word cult in the hashtag. From my perspective it looked like a form of banter.

But I speak from limited experience - no exposure to real cults where I lived.

With @RoamResearch users growing, word definitions may have to be respected
Even if we change the hashtag, the community is still the same. Highly encouraging, very welcoming, and all know how great this tool is.

We don’t want our mission confused and misunderstood with negative influences. We’re here to build the world’s knowledge graph

When should blocks evolve, according to @AbhayPrasanna? He shares their sources and compares the brackets to Pokemon!

"The functionality of Roam becomes an algorithm of thought in itself"

Focusing on what @RoamResearch represents from an investor's perspective, his Investor Frameworks, and more! Here are some highlights (eg. Will he hire a Chief Meme Officer?) Image
Firstly, the aspiring basketball player story:
Ever had a 10-hour call while smoking on the porch and drinking beers? That's what happened between both Jeff and @Conaw as they talked about investing in Roam. Oh, and it was compared to Evernote too!:

Officially: Season 2 is out for @RoamFm!

Highlights from the first 3 eps incoming, starting with @cicatriz of Fractal Inquiry: Image
Spaced repetition through @RoamResearch is slowly getting implemented in many Roamans' workflows, and here Ryan gives us an idea of how he uses it to dive into a new field, in this example: macroeconomics!
What Ryan is interested in from @RoamResearch recently is tools for incremental reading: using a combination of spaced repetition and reading practices to get the most out of understanding a piece (PDF, video, etc.) and RECALLING what you've learned. Very important!
