One thing that #PandemicTwitter™ has convinced me of is that media literacy is a spiritual discipline we as a Church sorely need.
And you know what? The #MediaNuns are going to do something about that this summer!
The Pauline Center for Media Studies (@PaulineMediaEd) is offering two Virtual Film Retreats on the theme "Graced Encounters." Do one, the other or both! (Each session features different movies. I mean "films.")

Public Service Announcement: Hackers have taken advantage of people's searching for info on #COVID19 to introduce computer viruses. Really.
Here's the advice we got from our Provincial Superior (an IT expert):
There is a new round of Covid-19 related malware that’s aimed at taking advantage of the situation.  Anti-malware is not yet available to deal with it, so we need to rely on each one of you to be careful.

To avoid having to deal with the consequences...
Only access well known and reliable sources for information and maps of Covid-19.  These include:
cdc.gov
mass.gov/resource/infor…
childrenshospital.org
Do not simply google and click links.  Hackers are using Covid-19 as a cover for placing malware on computers.

What a saga. You'd think "somebody" didn't want us to have a sign on Route 1 (Dedham/Boston).
It certainly took long enough (after years of fundraising!).
Street signage became all the more necessary for our Dedham location when the strip mall right ahead of us installed a solid fence all the way to the street, hiding our bookstore from view. Even we couldn't find it!
You can't imagine the permits involved (to replace a sign that had been in that same place).
Finally, two (three?) weeks ago, the workers came to install the posts. And out of nowhere an official came to them, asking to see a permit that nobody had known about.
