Form, Storm, Norm, Perform – Group Dynamics For Victory

In 1965, Bruce Tuckman offered the model here presented for our consideration. Ever since, it has proven irrefutable. It works.

2) The two key terms, as you see, the X & Y axis of the diagram, are Task & Relationship. As I've perused the literature, these two key terms are underrepresented. What is the task? What is OUR relationship? Who do WE accomplish our mission?

3) When, as a group, we FORM, we're so happy to do so. We have an idea of a positive task, and we're all, all in, or so we think. Alas, it is not so. We are NOT all in. Rather, we all have egos. And our egos are either subservient to the mission, or...they are not.

4) There are two places where subservience to the mission may go wrong. One, we may be subservient to a DIFFERENT mission than the one on offer. Two, we may NOT be subservient. That is, we may be IN IT for ourselves, and NOT FOR the mission.

5) This is worth parsing. I am FOR me. I want you to be FOR you. I worship on the altar of HONEST ego. If I'm not for myself, who am I for? I WANT you to be FOR yourself. That is what is SUPPOSED to be assumed. If WE are FOR a mission, that mission must fit inside that parameter.

6) This is why storming ALWAYS follows forming. We end up fighting over both the mission itself AND our dedication to that mission. There is NO WAY a high performance team can arise without going through both stages, forming and storming.

7) But you ask, WHAT does any of this have to do with the mission of Virginia Republicans to #DefeatMcAuliffeNow by voting #FairfaxForVA? There is a sad answer. Here it is. We have NOT formed, stormed, & normed. We're NOT ready to perform.

8) We require 300,000 VA Republican voters by June 8, so we can #DefeatMcAuliffeNow. This requires, as we have analyzed, 73 unique seed chains, where a single influencer persuades 2 Republican voters to show up and vote for Fairfax, and each of these must bring 2 others also.

9) A single seed chain would look like this:

10) I imagine it's obvious that any one seed chain is UNLIKELY in the extreme, to generate 20 different iterations of itself. But if we start out again and again, 73 different times where 1 voter brings 2, who each bring 2 more, we get to our 300,000 on June 8 easily.

11) Still there, each of our 73 seeds need to replicate 13 times, up to 4,096 voters for Fairfax. We can do the math down, too. 146 seeds times 12 iterations does the job. 292 seeds times 11 iterations gets it done. Etcetera. Can 300 Virginia Republicans bring 2 each, etc.?

12) Each seed and chain is a group. If we had time, we absolutely could form, storm, norm, and perform with each of the required groups to ensure we #DefeatMcAuliffeNow. Out of 2.5 million Virginia Republican votes, this should NOT be difficult.

13) If I recall it right, there are roughly 300,000 school districts in America. How many of them teach our Constitution and its history? Ensuring that absolute necessity would require, obviously, 300,000 high performance teams.

14) This is the advantage the left has in perverting and distorting the destiny of America. They have understood the basic math of political transformation for 100 years longer than we, on the right have. They control our school districts. All of them.

15) I do NOT yet know how many school districts we have in Virginia. Were the 50 states divided evenly, we'd have 6,000 districts in our Commonwealth. It isn't a bad number. Perhaps we need 6,000 small, high performance group leaders in our state.

16) The number of counties in Virginia is easy to discover. 95. If 95 seeds started 2X chains, we'd only need 13 seeds to #DefeatMcAuliffeNow. Each chain would only need 13 iterations. Are there 13 counties in Virginia that might rise up to this mission?

17) If ONLY 13 Virginia counties accepted this mission, we'd only need 23,076 votes in each one, for Fairfax, in order to #DefeatMcAuliffeNow.

Imagine that.

18) Why Fairfax? Name recognition leads the way. We have a county, and a town, by that very name. Lord Fairfax was a guy. He existed. Go figure! Justin's name comes from that history. Fairfax is a Virginia name.

19) There's more. Fairfax will become the national darling of the left. And by national, I do mean that. in 2021, the Virginia Governorship is the single most important election there is. Fairfax will be a formidable foe. That is a good thing.

20) We don't need a weak enemy. We simply need to stop McAuliffe. We need to wound our enemy right now, due to the fact we have this power. Power unused hurts the side that failed to use it. It shows our weakness.

21) What our Commonwealth needs is for each county and neighborhood to have its own patriot group that makes its way through the four stages of forming, storming, norming, and performing.

22) Norming means building a working method based upon shared values. For instance, right now, many will wonder if it is even ethical to vote in a Democrat primary. The ethics I put forward are based on saving Virginia and America from McAuliffe. This requires moral accord.

23) If we assume that moral accord, what does performance look like? Picture a car filled with other voters, all picked up and driven to the polling station. Each individual vote is an act of performance.

24) Imagine a group of good patriots watching the numbers come in. Hot dogs and hamburgers on a grill. Some Virginia whiskey is poured. Laughter and joy all round. And we defeat the worst man in America, we defeat the Clinton Machine with joy and celebration. That is performance.
