Trump’s From New York, I’m From Chicago, & We Read Alinsky
Virginia, you should read Alinsky, too. Of course you should read his books, but you don't need to. Just this set of 13 rules is all you require. They're easy to take in.
2) Let's look at the #DefeatMcAuliffeNow strategy through Alinsky's lens. Our major problem is that WE don't know we have this power. The enemy rightly does NOT think we have it, as we are unaware of our power, ourselves.
3) Culturally, Virginia is run by genteel people. Of course, we who support Trump are NOT genteel people. There's a basic, simple breakdown in our Commonwealth. View it is the Northeast vs the Southwest. The Northeast flows along with Washington D.C. The Southwest does not.
4) N.E. Virginia believes Biden won fair and square. S.W. Virginia does not. N.E. seeks compromise with the left, with liberals, with Democrats. S.W. does not. N.E. rejects Trump and Trumpism. S.W. does not. N.E. uses power within the realm of social niceties. S.W. does not.
5) As I've come to understand the Republican Party of Virginia (RPV), I've learned that it attempts to rule by N.E. values while making them, somehow, acceptable to the S.W. That is why Youngkin was selected. They believe he bridges that gap. But they have more also.
6) There can be no question, the Party bosses detest Trump. They detest his methods and tone. They are conservative in the softest of ways. The Bush clan's 1,000 Lights and Caring Conservatism suits them to perfection. Trump's take-no-prisoners style is anathema to them.
7) Alinsky's first rule is also anathema to our Party bosses. They want, with genteel softness, for the enemy to NOT fear the use of power whatsoever. We don't use power. That would break our persona. We find our way to soft agreements. We don't use threats, or power itself.
8) Well, that is, we don't use power except in maintaining strict, absolute control over our own people. This is no merely general statement I'm making. In yesterday's post I listed three heroes who were censured for their support of Trump.
9) I forward yesterday's thread by email, as well as reached out to all three by phone. I got no response, not from even a single "hero." That, I believe, is the use of true power. They know, now, not to break ranks with the Party bosses. I'll get no response from them at all.
10) Alinsky's 2nd Rule informs me of our weakness. Our people are NOT expert in voting in a Democrat primary. If our strategy fails, it will be for two primary reasons.
1) Our people do not know our power. 2) Our message has insufficient reach.
11) Have you, yourself, personally been persuaded by the #DefeatMcAuliffeNow strategy? If so, I can offer the following key qualifier. I'll shout it in caps:
DO YOU STILL SUPPORT TRUMP?
If a Trump supporter realizes our power, he will certainly vote #FairfaxForVA now.
12) Qualifier? Those who join you in voting #FairfaxForVA on or before June 8 will be Trump supporters, I assure you. No one NOT supporting Trump will have the aggressive, socially unacceptable heat and fire. In Virginia, we're genteel. We don't do things like this.
13) There is no such thing as the perfect tactic. No tactic will live up to all 13 Rules. In our analysis, what we have to do is separate the N.E. from the S.W. No N.E. Virginia Republican will join us. They believe Biden is the lawful President. They won't #DefeatMcAuliffeNow.
14) If you have decided to join this mission, there is, then, a single question to ask of any you attempt to persuade to join us also:
Do you still support Trump?
If the answer is no, or qualified, or hesitant, that person will NOT vote for Fairfax in this Democrat primary.
15) For any Virginian who does NOT still support Trump, the tactic will be OUTSIDE their expertise, breaking Alinsky's 2nd Rule. But...any Virginian who still supports Trump will be THRILLED to have an action that can be taken, right now, to express that support.
16) Every other Alinsky Rule supports our strategy. If we vote in the Democrat primary, we will be OUTSIDE our enemy's expertise (Rule 3). If we vote for Fairfax, we're making our enemy live up to their own book of rules (Rule 4). Fairfax should be their strongest candidate.
17) Ridicule? McAuliffe? You have to be kidding. If the RPV is making a single greatest error it is the FAILURE to ridicule McAuliffe, the failure to embrace the #DefeatMcAuliffeNow strategy. They are missing the ridicule mandate completely.
18) In their genteel way, they assume that McAuliffe is the past. Now, bowing, I have to grant them this. There is a long history in Virginia of political power flowing to the party opposite that which rules in D.C. Obama is elected. McDonnell wins the Governor's Office.
19) Until yesterday's research, I wrongly believed the RPV had NO strategy at all. I confess that I was wrong. They do. And further, I confess they may be right. It is possible that McAuliffe will fall in the fall to Youngkin. By RPV standards, Youngkin is their man.
20) But I am not a genteel Virginian, I am rather a recent transplant, originally from Chicago. And I read Alinsky. Rule 5 is the one I deem the RPV incompetent over.
"Ridicule is man's most potent weapon. There is no defense. It is almost impossible to counterattack ridicule."
21) I scorn McAuliffe. He is pure evil. Having the power to #DefeatMcAuliffeNow, there is no forgiveness for its failure. We have this power. It only takes 12% of us to defeat him in this primary. But the genteel powers that be have no interest in such a strategy. Telling.
22) I'll be frank. Fairfax has NO chance to win the Governor's seat. None. He is, however, the 2nd best candidate after Terry, Evil Mc. The moment he wins, if he does, I will turn against him viciously. I will support Youngkin, whether he deserves it or not.
23) Fairfax is the Democrat's best candidate, following McAuliffe. He's the one to fear...but far less so than McAuliffe. It's time, Virginia, to toughen up. The S.W. should be our leading segment. We should rise up against the N.E.
24) Wouldn't you enjoy determining the Democrat nominee? I sure would! If just 12% of Virginia Republicans vote for Fairfax in June 8's primary, we select their nominee. Can't you feel the power?
Interlude...I have an early coaching session about to commence. I'll return after and conclude...
25) Our genteel N.E., always ready to do business with the Democrats, doesn't actually care about Youngkin, and will be 100% ready to do business with McAuliffe should he win. Peace at all costs is their actual philosophy. Peace at all costs.
26) Test it and you can feel it. Our genteel culture here in Virginia allows Joe Biden his Presidency. I do not. He is a thief. He has purloined his office. Yes, in the fall, I will support Youngkin no matter what. But he has allowed Biden his stolen office. We must be honest.
27) Virginia Republicans? It comes down to the Trump S.W. vs the Biden N.E. Youngkin is touted to us because they believe he can bridge both. Here's my actual point. Why should he have to? If we #DefeatMcAuliffeNow, he would have to. Please. Contemplate that.
28) But there's something deeper here. We Americans have become a leader-led people. We have our two parties. They lead us. We fear their judgment or disapprobation. Committee seats. Join the party. Complete leadership training. Get a committee seat. Now we've got you.
29) Break the Constitution? No matter. We have the power of social disapprobation by which to control you. Not the Democrats, the Republicans. I am now a Republican. But NOT of the Establishment category. I am of the people, the Republican people. So should you be too.
30) I am a patriot rebel and you should be too. I support Trump as so should you too. I'm ready to #DefeatMcAullifeNow. So should you be too. All we need do is vote...
A high-ranking member of the Republican establishment in Richmond informed me recently that there are no serious people disputing Republican strategy. That is a dire omen.
2) I couldn't quite fathom how dire until now. We turn now to studying the Republican Party in Virginia, and the immediate results are virtually terrifying. Our party is in disarray. Failure mounting on failure, our Party has split from the soul of our people.
3) The laundry list of defeat following defeat is stunning. I'll give you the wiki link but you hardly need it. With 43% Republicans to 39% Democrats, we are now a deep blue state, with no sign in sight of ever regaining our hold on State Government.
We've discussed the 5 stages of grief before, and we'll review them again today. The first is Denial, and a point often missed is how GOOD Denial can be for us. It can be an act of will.
2) The order I teach the stages in is slightly different than the original. Here's my list:
We'll do a quick run through over the 2020 Election theft.
3) Republican Grief:
I deny that Biden is the lawful president. I shall not let him pass into my heart as such. He is a thief. I deal with this by bargaining my way to oppositional action, action in which my anger is powerfully channeled. My action may not succeed. No matter.
Hapless. We Republicans are a people without a mission right now. We're hapless. What are we fighting for right now? The 2022 Midterms? The 2024 Presidential Election? Obviously they're too far away.
2) We've been purged out of social media, just a few of us still straggling along, but with so little force as to feel like just punching water. The left knows, cut off the head of the snake and the body just writhes and convulses and goes nowhere till the life force is spent.
3) We're still reeling from the stolen election. Hapless, yes, and perhaps as bad or worse, we're feckless. We don't have a feck to give. No mojo. I know you know. But we aren't facing our disease, naming it, and doing something about it.
I've made up my mind. You can see my decision represented below. I haven't gone in to place my vote yet, and haven't decided if I'll do early voting, or go in on the 8th. Justin Fairfax is my man.
2) I have to tell you, man was I dreading the research tasks you see represented in these two screenshots. If you look closely at the second, you see I have all four Non-McAuliffe candidates' wikis up in my browser. They've been there for days without a single glance from me.
3) The cop out I gave myself was that I'd just do the research and analysis in real time together with you, generate my thread as I did so. Methodical, meticulous, honest research with all these parameters in mind, if you follow me, you know the drill. But then...EUREKA!
Here at Twitter, there is no file sharing function. I am NOT able to post my threads here as word docs. The only workaround are screenshots. Cumbersome! Threads it is, here...
2) But sometimes a workable document as a whole is better than threads. The thread reader app exists in that gap, but still does not give you the full flexibility that a word doc does.
3) Just now, I was able to provide the members of my discussion group at Telegram, and those who follow my channel, complete, unfettered access to the documents for use on computer, phone, or even hard copy.
Al is my hero, friend, advisor, and true compatriot. He is President Trump's Favorite Veteran. Listen to our great POTUS introduce Al.
2) @Al_Baldasaro made the most the most important introduction of my life, to General Mike Flynn. While I'm tempted to tell Al's full story, we have to skip all that and turn to the advice he gave me yesterday about the #DefeatMcCullifeNow mission.
3) @Al_Baldasaro gave me some important coaching about the Virginia Republican Party's decision to NOT run a primary this year. His fresh perspective persuaded me that I was wrong in my judgement of them.
