The Democrats really are fighting to the death for you. The republicans really are fighting to the death for themselves. No, the two parties are not conspiring with each other. Don’t misunderstand my tweet. But almost NONE of politics takes place in public. Doesn’t work that way.
Accordingly, political battles are basically never won by stomping your feet, speaking in absolutes, or immediately making the “boldest” move you can think of. That stuff is actually how you lose a political battle.
Did you see Biden publicly attack Netanyahu? Of course not. Wouldn’t have accomplished anything. Instead Biden put a series of events in motion that resulted in Netanyahu’s ouster. THAT is how you win. Not by yelling, foot stomping, or public tantrums.
Will Biden win the voting rights legislation battle? YES. Will Biden win the infrastructure battle? YES. Because he understands how politicos works. Most of you don’t, which is why you can’t understand what he’s even doing right now.
But you need to be aware that while Biden will win on these two issues, 1) it will take long than you’d like, and 2) there will be some minor compromises or concessions along the way.

Even after the Democrats win on this, you’ll whine about the Democrats being “weak” because they took too long for your liking, and they only got 85% of what they originally wanted. Your moderate friends will hear this and vote Republican next time – and it’ll be YOUR fault.
How do I know this? Because y’all and your clueless defeatism and nonstop whining and moaning have been costing us elections for my entire life. You’re the best thing the republicans have going for them. You’re the whole problem for your own side. Yes, you. Knock it off. PLEASE.
