There was absolute refusal by Ronnie, most EC members and the credentialing committee, to address the issue of abuse, or even discuss best standards.

I pleaded for months for Ronnie to speak with me to address the intentional defamation of Jen Lyell, with no legal action needed. Jen had already plead for months as well.

Jen and I both plead to avoid legal action and pointed out that the EC had the power and funding to help with care. For eight months we were told through staff that this was not possible under the bylaws and that they had zero access to funds. This was a demonstratable lie.
In fact, both Jen and I pulled the last decade of financial reports, tax documents, bylaws, investment reports, and repeatedly went line by line through them demonstrating the legal and financial ability to make this right without forcing her to bring legal action.
Repeatedly we were told that our interpretation was incorrect and it was "trauma talking". As if an attorney and the officer who managed the SBC publishing contracts and financials, just didn't get how this worked.

Ronnie and the EC cared so little that they would not even ask what needed to be done on the issueof abuse, nor even respond to requests to meet for a well documented case of abuse and defamation.
