Born on 11 June 1897, at Shahjahanpur, Ramprasad had a normal childhood and a regular at Arya Samaj.
His 1st exposure towards Azadi came with the news of Death Sentence for Swami Paramanand, friend of Lala Hardayal.
Enraged
Ram wrote a poem in Hindi titled Mera Janm & showed to Swami Somdev, who was a friend of Paramanand.
The Swami encouraged Ramprasad & meanwhile Congress had a session at Lucknow.
Ram formed a revolutionary organisation called Matrivedi, contacted Genda Lal Dikshit, a school
teacher at Auraiya for support. Somdev arranged this, knowing that Ram could be more effective in his mission if he had experienced people to support him. Dikshit had also formed an armed organisation of youths called Shivaji Samiti.
On 28 January 1918, Bismil published a
pamphlet Deshvasiyon Ke Nam Sandesh, which he distributed along with his poem Mainpuri Ki Pratigya and for Funds, they started looting Mainpuri.
Once, British surrounded them & Ram absconded, but Dikshit & Swami was caught.
In February 1920, when all the prisoners in the
Mainpuri conspiracy case were freed, Ramprasad returned home from hiding, where he agreed with the official authorities that he would not participate in revolutionary activities. This statement of Ram Prasad was also recorded in Local Language before the court.
In 1921, at
Ahmedabad Congress session, Ram met Ashfaqulla Khan for the first time, the session called for PoornaSwaraj which Gandhi didn't like, but everybody agreed & worked towards Non Cooperation Movement.
The Chauri Chaura & subsequent BACKSTAB by Gandhi left Freedom fighters in
surprise & anger.
Cong president Chittaranjan Das resigned & with Motilal Nehru started Swaraj Party.
With the consent of Lala Har Dayal, Ramprasad drafted the constitution of the party in 1923 with the help of Sachindra Nath Sanyal and another revolutionary of Bengal,
Dr. Jadugopal Mukherjee.
The basic name and aims of the organisation were typed on a Yellow Paper and later on a subsequent Constitutional Committee Meeting was conducted on 3 October 1924 at Kanpur under the Chairmanship of Sachindra Nath Sanyal.
This meeting decided the name
of the party would be #HindustanRepublicanAssociation (HRA).
Ram Prasad executed a meticulous plan for looting the government treasury carried in a train at Kakori, near Lucknow in U.P. This historical event happened on 9 August 1925 and is known as the Kakori conspiracy.
Around 40 revolutionaries were arrested whereas only 10 persons had taken part in the decoity.
After 18 months, Bismil, Ashfaqulla Khan, Roshan Singh and Rajendra Nath Lahiri were sentenced to death. Ram was hanged on 19 December 1927 at Gorakhpur Jail, Ashfaqulla Khan at the
Faizabad Jail and Thakur Roshan Singh at Allahabad Jail. Lahiri had been hanged two days earlier at Gonda Jail.
When the time came for his hanging, the officials were amazed as there was nothing but bliss on his face. As he moved, he joyfully chanted ‘Vande Mataram‘ and
‘Bharat Mata ki Jai‘.
Then he calmly recited his prayers – ‘Vishwani deva savithaha dunithani….’ and the warrior of Pen and pistol – Ram Prasad Bismil embraced death like a hero. #RamPrasadBismil was cremated at Rapti river and the site is known as Rajghat.

Birsa was a Tribal Leader, Freedom Fighter who died mysteriously under the British captivity.
Birsa not only fought against British but also against Christian
Missionaries, he knew how the Missionaries lured the poor tribals, make them slog in their farms and estates, paid them meager wages, and destroyed the forest wealth.
His profound knowledge about the forest terrains and also his Oratory skills was an advantage, he amassed
large number of tribals and inspired them to revolt against British, Missionaries and their puppets, The Zamindars.
His Guerrilla Warfare techniques gave headache for the British, they couldn't locate him as he used to skip them in the forests.
We find a sense of fellow-feeling and helpfulness for the oppressed in the preaching of Guru Shri Teg Bahadurji:
Baanhi jinhan di pakadiye, sir dijiye baanhi na chhodye, Guru Teg Bahadur bolya, dharati pai dharam na chodye. (Whomsoever you provide protection, you should be
prepared to sacrifice yourself but not that protection. Guru Teg Bahadur asks you not to forsake your religion on this earth.)
After his sacrifice, suddenly, we sense a warrior spirit in the preaching of Guru Gobind Singhji. When he realised that a mere spiritual devotion
could not do anything, he started Chandi worship and turned Sikh community into a community of worshippers and warriors by synthesising spiritualism and fighting.
