Today's idea: "Other People Also Bought" +SAAS services
Given the multitude of webpage designers, email marketing software, integration services, and so on available today, and the growing number every day, it's hard to make choices about which ones to pick.
🧵👇
So how about something that allows people to register their product or service, and the services they use. A bit like Stackshare.io
But rather than focus on pros/cons, as they have, focus on the "Other people also bought..." aspect.
Let people say what their stack is, and why they picked that combination. Let them write a bit about their product/service. That way, it helps them promote their product, and also gives them a reason to share their stack.
So how could you monetize this?
First, direct income - advertising on site. You could just run ads across the entire site, knowing you're targeting SAAS users.
Or, target specific companies - eg, see if Glide Apps want to advertise on stacks which list Google Sheets.
You could look for affiliate opportunities. Although not many SAAS services have affiliate marketing, there are some. You could also track the outbound links from the site, and reach out to the most popular ones to see if they are happy to work something out.
Build a mailing list. From people submitting their stack (as you're helping to promote their product), and also from people looking to find related stacks ("Here are three related items - register to see more"). In the newsletter, promote your own products or have adverts.
Finally, you've got a place to advertise SAAS products, so you could just run ads for your own products.
One last thought - this could also be a great networking/community-building tool. If you run stats on which apps are connected, you could mail people who use X and say "Y has just been release and there's a lot of people using Y with X - might be worth taking a look"

Today's idea: "Only some bullet points" + "3-article marketing".
Some explanations:
"Only some bullet points": if you see a product that is expensive, but does lots., pick just one *key* feature that lots of people use, and creating a product that does just that.
🧵
"3-article marketing" is a strategy where article #1 is published on a public site, #2 on your own site, #3 behind a wall (on a membership site, to mailing list subscribers only via an autoresponder, visible only after the reader has socially shared your content, and so on).
Have each article naturally lead on to the next one, using pre-selling techniques ("In part 2 of this series, you'll find out….."). This also has the advantage that someone actually getting to the final article will be very keen on whatever you are promoting.
