There came to Prophet Muhammad ๏ทบ, a woman from the tribe of Ghamid.
The woman approached him and said, โ€œO Allahโ€™s Messenger, I have committed adultery, so purify me.โ€
The Prophetโ€™s eyes filled with grief and he turned away from her, dismissing her from the gathering.
The next day, al-Ghamidiyyah returned and once again publicly confessed her crime. โ€œO Allahโ€™s Messenger, why do you turn me away?โ€
"By Allah, I have become pregnant!โ€
Prophet Muhammad ๏ทบ answered, โ€œIf you insist upon it (the punishment), then leave and return only after you give birth.โ€
Months later, al-Ghamidiyyah returned to Prophet Muhammad ๏ทบ, with her baby wrapped in blankets.
She presented the child, saying, โ€œHere is the child whom I have given birth to.โ€
Prophet Muhammad ๏ทบ answered, โ€œLeave, and suckle him until he is weaned.โ€
Approximately two years later, al-Ghamidiyyah returned with her child, who was holding a piece of bread in his hand.

โ€œO Allahโ€™s Messenger, here is my child, as I have weaned him and he can now eat (solid) food.โ€
Upon this, Prophet Muhammad ๏ทบ entrusted the child to one of his other Companions, and pronounced the punishment of zina upon al-Ghamidiyyah. She was placed in a ditch that came up to her chest, and he commanded the people to come forth and stone her.
Khalid ibn Waleed R.A flung a stone at her head, at which blood spurted forth from her and splashed Khalidโ€™s face. Furious, Khalid R.A verbally abused her.
Prophet Muhammad ๏ทบ heard Khalidโ€™s curses and rebuked him, saying โ€œKhalid, be gentle! By Him in Whose Hand is my life, she has made such a repentance that even if a wrongful tax-collector were to repent, he would have been forgiven.โ€
After she died, Prophet Muhammad ๏ทบ prayed the funeral prayer over her body and al-Ghamidiyyah was buried.
Source : Sahih Muslim 1695 b
Lesson:
By virtue of the repentance, the acknowledgment of the severity of sins she committed, she was able to elevate herself from a position of lowliness & shame to one of honor & dignity, & displayed an incredibly high standard of courage & Iman

Mus'ab ibn Umair R.A was a child of a very rich family. From his childhood, he lived in luxuries of life.
Especially as a handsome young man, he was lavished with special love & attention
In fact,he was unique in his luxurious tastes
He wore the most costly clothes and changed them twice a day. His shoes used to be the costliest available at that time.
He was also fond of wearing fragrance. A whiff of his fragrance was enough for the people to know that Mus'ab is passing by.
With all that luxurious lifestyle, he was very intelligent and had an elegant personality with keen mind and mastery in eloquent speech. Because of these qualities, he was moving about among the influential circles of chiefs of Quraysh at a young age.
