Because he is the latest interchangeable face of an inauthentically organized campaign and will return to the obscurity he deserves within a month or two, when the same disinfo networks prop up a new useful idiot for their next manufactured, weaponized moral panic
...Unless we stop the cycle now! Keep calling this shit out, friends. We have years of receipts over here
p.s. It's the #TantonNetwork. "Population control advocates" disguised as "immigration hardliner" lobbyists, drawn together by John Tanton, funded by the Scaife networks.
They are in law enforcement, politics, churches, anywhere they can influence people and policy. They are networked together with coordinated talking points and plans, and their greatest strength had been their ability to inauthentically mobilize without detection to give the
illusion of popularity and consensus where none existed (sound familiar?)

They have managed to kill more than one immigration reform bill this way, by bullying lawmakers with call after call, emails, office visits -- all inauthentically coordinated through networks. Until now.
They also create situations where they bring out a lot of loud people with signs who go yell things in front of camera. That they are the same people whatever the cause yelling the same shit never seems to occur to reporters. But there is always a pattern.
First it gets seeded to the marks from the top -- networked public officials and far right influencers suddenly pivot to introducing a phrase in similar ways all over the nation (December 7 2020) heritage.org/civil-rights/r…
Then the algorithms start carrying this shit directly to the eyeballs of those already considered to be marks, QAnon followers, hardcore MAGA types, etc., who suddenly start seeing dumb, but highly weaponized shit like this in their feeds:
This particular thing actually was one of the many storylines seeded ahead of the election to get the accelerationists even sweatier and ready for the local-to-state power grabs. Russ Vought is the same guy quoted all over now
But after Trump lost, his enablers started trying to double down in order to consolidate power and here we are. Anyway this is Vought last month. He's off on his little disinfo tour, seeding more lies so that the marks will stay mad
But like I said, none of this is authentic. It's the #TantonNetwork. This is who he is working with
npr.org/2021/06/02/100…

From this story.

But they create all these shell groups to make it difficult for all but the most obsessive and spite-filled reporters to track them down.
So what they do is they take people who are already targeted as marks from their personality data. They are already in these groups and networks that exist because of QAnon and other weaponized conspiracy theories. They are angry, hateful, and easy to manipulate into, for example
So they go make a big stink and threaten, oh I don't know, school board members to try to frighten them into stepping down so they can take their place. And it is entirely coordinated with those aforementioned national influencers and politicians thedailybeast.com/critical-race-…
The guy who apparently started this 1776 Project narc shit is someone named Ryan Girdusky.

Also Ryan Girdusky: web.archive.org/web/2019042702…
And there's VDare
And once you get plugged into the outrage machine, here's what happens. (Substitute your local far right shitheels for San Diego's in this thread, they are all talking to each other in Facebook groups and planning campaigns in Twitter DMs.) It's the same old shit every time.
And all of this, ALL of it, is being done in the service of the same goal: A global, far right power grab enabled by big tech to consolidate resources ahead of a projected climate collapse. That's why it's all about hardening borders and commodifying identity.

Everyone has noticed by now that QAnoners have morphed straight into anti-critical race theory activists right? That's what they are talking about in their groups. And corrupt public officials are making political hay with it (because they're the ones who seeded it to begin with)
And then there's whatever the fuck this is

Just realized the 2011-2012 Encinitas, Calif. yoga disinformation campaign (about yoga programs in schools) came at the same time that the ethnic studies programs attacks were really getting underway in Tucson, just one state over

Well thank goodness I'm not the only person saying this.
This is the #TantonNetwork. It is in law enforcement, policy, schools, and churches. They have been quietly infiltrating for decades. Their lobbying groups have been pushing a white supremacist agenda using immigration as its Trojan horse, and the Trump admin gave them power.
Here is who the bulk of their funding comes from. Look at all the groups they fund and think about what they are doing. It's a coordinated power grab, just like I told you all along.

Forty years ago was when John Tanton first opened FAIR's doors. Lots of aligned interests seem to have started to converge around forty years ago
Forty years ago, the Klan decided to make the border its new thing, too nytimes.com/1977/10/18/arc…

Hahaha. What did I tell you about southern California law enforcement? Hey ex-coworkers, I'll accept your apologies for not believing me in the form of beers and cash awards
I mean, I was an Orange County reporter too, I didn't just cover San Diego and Los Angeles and Riverside and Imperial. I saw it all up close and personal like
And let me tell you something that I never realized until recently. A face like mine is a truth magnet. It brings out all the shit people think they are hiding. It comes out in questions like, "What ARE you?" and "Where are you from? No, really." And nowhere was it worse than OC.

No shit! We warned you. Then they're used to pit ideologically irreconcilable groups against each other in person, which in turn functions as recruitment material for the far right when the optics turn violent. They're far from the only group

When Paul Manafort was doing this shit in Ukraine and elsewhere, he called it "black ops." But really you can call it "active measures" or "hybrid warfare" too. (Story from 2017)
