OK so the context for me being racist against the french is this, an excerpt of a much larger and more painful conversation . i just
me: i would like to help bridge any cultural misunderstandings here with resources

was i condescending? possibly. i regret that. i need to learn more about deescalation and racial mediation to avoid that.

soooo heads-up: if you are me or any of these other accounts, altun is asking people he knows to mass-report us. id... be really heartbroken to lose my account over this. but if i do, you'll at least know why.

haha so i sure did go play potd for a few hours

and sure did come back to... this? he's really latched onto this one conversation i had with a black mutual, for some reason

multiple people are sharing what is being said in this server, and im really just. icarly with glass of wine at computer. this is so fucking funny its8496edit they think im down bad enough for xaelas to do this out of horny spite, i hate the french, and dont care abt pedophilia
according to this, here's my tragic backstory

as a child, i always hated the french. i cracked baguettes in half over my knee. i burned french flags in my easy bake oven. anytime someone spoke french near me, i was trained to bite them instinctively.
my thirst for french blood, however, was only the beginning. once i had grown up, i began to play the hit critically-acclaimed mmorpg final fantasy 14 with a free trial including content up to level 60 and no restrictions on playtime.

soooo as i expected, people ive known for a long time are cutting me off for being too aggressive or too passionate or making them think about their characters too much

hurts like hell! not gonna lie
and this includes some ppl ive known for Years. so yeah

shit sucks
idk why this tweet is getting traction, but i think. the past two days... ive come to several conclusions

- racism in au ra rp circles exists because of attitudes that enable it. if people were willing to correct their friends, the character in my post never wouldve been written

had to softblock a mutual for this post; ive censored the name because i do not want anyone to simplify this into a "oh that one guy is so weird" thing--this is a PROMINENT ISSUE in ffxiv rp community.

playing a character who happens to have dark skin isn't the problem. the problem is people who

- rp petplay that is just poorly-disguised sex slavery
- treat xaelas like "exotic animals"
- fetishize darker skin tones
- characterize xaelas as overly aggressive, animalistic
as some of you may know, xaelas are inspired by mongolian culture. i'm not an authority on this subject, so ill not get too deep into it, but i AM aware that many people stereotype them as warmongering animalistic sex fiends (xaelas are one example, see also the Huns in mulan)

So I've read the full text of this excerpt I've seen directed at a voice actor multiple times, stating that she is posting misinformation in saying virtual child pornography is illegal. The text is a summary of an appeal by the 9th Circuit of the Supreme Court, which (1/?
successfully overturned some aspects of the CPPA (Child Pornography Protection Act) in April 2002. The Appeal contended that the CPPA is unconstitutional because its terminology was vague enough to cause a freedom of speech violation.

Three judges participated in this Appeal
