As part of a continuing effort to pay back the left-wing dark money groups who elected him and Senate Democrats, Joe Biden has nominated Myrna Perez of the Brennan Center for Justice to be a judge on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. /1

The Brennan Center, which is not required to disclose its donors, has extensive ties to other liberal dark money groups, in addition to being one itself. It has received millions from the left-wing Tides and Open Society Foundations, among others. /2
Perez is director of the Voting Rights Center at the Brennan Center, which has forcefully opposed measures to ensure the integrity of our elections, including any and ALL voter ID measures, as well as efforts to update voter rolls. /3
Biden continues to nominate judges who he knows will deliver via the courts the policy outcomes that the Left desires, irrespective of the law. Myrna Perez is one of the most blatant examples we have seen of Biden's dark money payback scheme. /4

Now that SCOTUS has granted review in New York Rifle & Pistol Association v. Corlett and Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, Democratic politicians and left-wing dark money groups are ramping up their court-packing threats. /1
Of course, the Left’s attempts to intimidate the Court are nothing new.

We saw the same court-packing threat from @SenWhitehouse in 2019 when he and other Senate Democrats filed an amicus brief in a case involving a Second Amendment challenge to a New York City gun law. /2
And who can forget @SenSchumer last year threatening two justices by name: “I want to tell you, Gorsuch! I want to tell you, Kavanaugh! You have released the whirlwind, and you will pay the price! You won’t know what hit you if you go forward with these awful decisions.” /3

My organization is running a new ad urging @Sen_JoeManchin to vote NO on Vanita Gupta, citing her massive stake in a company that manufactures a key ingredient in the production of high-grade, China White heroin. /1
Vanita Gupta owns between $11 and $55 million dollars in stock in Avantor, a company that manufactures an essential ingredient used to make heroin and meth.

Gupta's father is also the chairman of the board of Avantor. /2
According to a Bloomberg investigation, Avantor produces and sells a key ingredient in Mexico known as acetic anhydride that Mexican drug cartels have used to mass produce high-grade, “China white” heroin and meth. /3

.@SenatorDurbin says at today's Senate Judiciary Committee hearing on Vanita Gupta's nomination that JCN's ad stating Gupta wants to defund the police is "patently false."

You need look no further than *Gupta's own words* to see that Senator Durbin couldn't be more wrong. /1
During testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee, Gupta called for leaders to heed calls to “decrease police budgets and the scope, role, and responsibility of police in our lives.” /2
Gupta: “While front-end systems changes are important, it is also critical for state and local leaders to heed calls from Black Lives Matter and Movement for Black Lives activists to decrease police budgets and the scope, role, and responsibility of police in our lives.” /3

Vanita Gupta is anti-law enforcement, anti-religious liberty, and supports packing the Supreme Court.

She wants to defund the police, but believes prisons should be forced to use taxpayer dollars to pay for hormone treatments for transgender inmates…the list goes on. /3
