Genuinely curious to hear people’s thoughts on seeing paid blogger ads/ partnerships on IG. I always see people either making jokes or critical comments and want to understand generally how people feel about it. Just wondering.
I’m obvs in favor of ads. As a food blogger specifically highlighting local restaurants, it is A LOT more work than eating at a restaurant w/ friends, snapping a photo, & giving an opinion.
Some events are hours and staying consistent (posting daily/every other day) is costly...
Some of the most FRESH fish you’ll have in the area is at Fishnet inside of Mt Vernon Marketplace!
Yesterday, I was invited to taste the menu with fellow bloggers. Overall, the food was good!

Fishnet def lets the cut of fish speak for itself & I think it works for their concept.
Everything is lightly seasoned & you can add add’l sauces/spices after you receive your order. Ex: The lake trout & steak fish here are perfectly crispy but spices are added on top 2/
Fishnet does not own a freezer or microwave. They are selling line caught fish and with fresh/ well sourced ingredients. You can absolutely taste the difference!
*Do keep in mind that this probably tastes completely different from your local fav.

It’s for people who live here and visitors to know what’s good to eat in the area of Baltimore...
I traveled frequently pre-COVID too and am aware different cities are known for different foods. Please tweet your favs from other cities/states on your own page 😂
This message is really for ppl who have been following for a while. Idc if random twitter ppl have commentary. If you follow and weigh in on a Baltimore food account, it just doesn’t make sense to name your favorites elsewhere.
