As the adage goes, Yateem'as Che 40 variyan laar ~ An orphan is chased away for 40 years.
Having to put up with an abuser just because you don't have anyone you can go to! Women in present times need to be financially independent to have an equal bargain.
The saddest part is that when she approached her own brother, he turned her away saying he too beats his wife!
Probably, he didn't want her to become another liability for him.
Muflisi sab bahaar kho ti hai
Mard Ka aetibaat kho ti hai
Poverty really makes you given up on your morals. And it always makes me remind of how well Prophet and his companions behaved in extreme poverty.
They didn't even lose their tempers because of it!
The video is deeply disturbing.
Can't imagine her state of mind- not having anyone she could approach made her turn to strangers who are recording her in a video.
And despite being mindful enough to cover her face out of modesty she's coerced to display her scars to strangers!

1. Recently, there was this debate on CH regarding the influence of caste on marriages and what we can do to eradicate this menace from our society.
2. Castes in Kashmir have three basic types of origins
1. The ancestral place you belonged to 2. The profession of your ancestors 3. A nickname given to one of your ancestors
3. One of the main reasons why the caste system survives in any society is because its proponents derive its legitimacy from religion and whenever something has supposedly religious origins, we cannot question the practice.
1. Not a leaf falls but that He knows it. And no grain is there within the darknesses of the earth and no moist or dry [thing] but that it is [written] in a clear record. - 6:59
He knows everything, He's Al-Aleem
2. HE who knows about every leaf that falls, about every grain within the earth surely knows what's in your heart.
He's not oblivious of your emotions and sufferings.
He knows exactly what you're feeling right now.
Those premonitions that further your anxiety. HE knows!
3. Therefore, He calls himself Al-waqeel The trustee.
The one to whom you entrust all of your matters. Every single of them.
"This is what my capacity allowed me to do and now, I entrust it to you"
For those who don’t know the origins, GaenzKhod is a certain place in Srinagar which is famous for animal-hides.
2. So, naturally, that place stinks like anything. If you pass by that place, you can barely stand the smell then what about people living there?
There is this famous story that, one household there got a new daughter-in-law who complained about the smell.
3. During her initial days, she used to roam around covering her face which was a sight of embarrassment when her kith and kin visited her.
So, she took the matter into her own hands and regularly cleaned the place.
Most of you guys have messed up parents and it shows.
Please don't beat yourself up thinking that you're messed up because you've failed at life, your parents failed at parenting.
Families are crucibles of nurture and love, growing up without love is as good as growing up abused.
As they say, Our body keeps score of both physical and mental scars.
To anyone out there who has been brought up in a broken home, you are really strong, stronger than most of us.
You didn't choose this fight, you might have lost the natural lottery but you're winning just by surviving.
InShaAllah Khair
One of the main purposes of their life is to stick their finger into the wall socket and electrocute themselves. So, when you prevent them from doing this, they perceive you as their enemy.
2. Anyone with more than 2 brain cells will know that sticking one's finger into the wall socket will electrocute them but who will tell that to toddlers?
3. Suppose, you meet a toddler who is neither your relative nor an acquaintance, and he is trying to stick his finger into the wall socket while his mother is busy with something else, will you intervene?
1. Every morning we wake up to be more successful than we were yesterday.
And success is defined by two things: Money and Power.
If you have either of the two, by design you will have the other as well.
2. Chickens have something called pecking order, it is the sequence that they will follow when they have to have their food- like who will go first, then who will go second, and so on.
3. Obviously, the chicken who is strongest among the brood is the first one to have his fill.
In Chickens, strength defines the pecking order. We, humans too follow this pecking order in our day-to-day lives. Our pecking order is not based on strength but Money and Power.
