I haven’t been in suburban Texas very long but I can tell you right now that you can give each and every person here a personal free doctor to attend to their every medical need and they’d still never vote Democrat.
Seriously, Northern progressives, I’m begging you to spend a weekend down here. Unless you run a candidate who wears a Trump t-shirt and says grace at Whattaburger, you’re never ever going to win them over.
It’s just absurdly obvious everywhere you look that they’re not Republicans because Democrats won’t make a new TVA, they’re Republicans because it’s a key aspect of their identity. Being an American, a Christian and a Republican are one in the same.
