We warned this would happen to British entertainment. I've already seen it starting in Germany. But it's not just about culture, it's also about funding.

To give you an idea, here are just a few of the excellent French series that have appeared in Germany over the last year (where UK series used to dominate). There are also many shows from Spain, Italy, Scandinavia and other parts of Europen now being broadcast.

Also don't estimate the impact this will have on the British output. A shrinking EU market and lack of EU funding means UK shows will become even MORE focused on America. .... As for European viewers, they will increasingly see British culture as something from the past in reruns

Or even *underestimate* .... 🙄
