How I used Amazon FBA to quit my 9 to 5 after six months selling

Step-by-step Guide to $50k (Revenue) Months

~Thread ~
First & foremost

A) Sign Up for an Amazon Seller Account

2 Options: Individual vs Professional

Sign up for an Individual Account first. This gives you access to Seller Central for Free.

When it’s time to start selling, switch to Professional ($40/mo)
Next I developed a process around Product Launch & repeated to scale a 6 Figure Business.

The process goes a little something like this:

1.Product Research
2.Product Design
3.Sourcing
4.Product Listing Creation
5.Launch
Step 1: Product Research

More important than what to go for..

Know what to avoid
Next, I developed an airtight 6 Pillar Framework I run each potential product through (see graphic)
Step 2: Product Design

Key to Winning on Amazon: Differentiation

Ask Yourself: How will my product be different than others?
-Material
-Appearance
-Functionality
-Packaging
-Product Listing What

Simple customization works best. Don’t try to reinvent the wheel.
Pro Tip: Before Finalizing, use Pick Fu to Poll audience on what they like
Step 3: Sourcing

Unless you want to be bold, you should be sourcing your products from Alibaba. Alibaba has both the resources & quality (long way from early 2000s)

KEY Alibaba Tip

Ensure each supplier you contact is both:
1.Utilizing Trade Assurance
2.A Verified Supplier
Supplier Negotiation

Suppliers are expecting negotiation, the price they initially quote is not final. Two negotiation tips:

1.Have them state their price first
2.Get all the information you need for a full order before sampling (reduces wastes of time/money)
Step 4: Product Listing Creation

Don’t cut costs here, professional copywriting and photography/video is key.

Many Amazon shoppers buy strictly off pictures/video.

Get them done right.

For you and/or your Copywriter, here’s the steps to create a listing that sells.
Note: if you need recs for Product Photo/Video, DM me and I’ll point you in the right direction.
Step 5: Launch

Primary Goal: Get Product to Page One

Steps to Launch

1.Amazon Advertising (Pay-per-Click)
2.Rebates: RebateKey Giveaways
3.Review Requester: Automated Email (Use Automated Service like Helium 10)
And that folks, is how it's done. Simple & effective to 6 (and eventually 7) Figures.

How to Send a Client Proposal – Real Example from my SEO Business Last Week

*SHORT THREAD*

Client Has:
1. Leads from my Site in Market A (Vancouver WA)
2. Internal website in Market B (Portland OR)

Client’s Request:
Build 2nd lead generation site in Market B (Portland OR)
Why Did I Propose Taking over His Website vs Building Another Lead Generation Site?

FIRST: What does Client actually Want?

ANSWER: Leads from Portland, as soon as possible
2 Reasons Why A Takeover is Better:

1.It takes a lot of time & effort to build a new website (I don’t like high time & effort)

2.It takes longer time for new site to rank (Client doesn’t like slow results)
