In the 13th CE AD Vastupal and Tejpal (ministers of Virdhaval, Vaghela ruler of Gujarat) came to know that Sultan Iltutmish's mother was on her way to conduct Hajj through the port of Khambat in Gujarat. Both brothers went to receive her and made spectacular arrangements for her.
On her return both the brothers received her and accompanied her to Delhi which highly impressed Iltutmish who rewarded them with the assurance of safety of Jain's and pilgrimages along with and a rare marble slab which was used to carve a large idol of Adinath Bhagwan

In 14th CE AD, Acharya Jinaprabhsuri visited the court of Muhammad bin Tughlaq. Acharya impressed Tughlaq with his eloquent poetry and sharp debating skills and was rewarded with a formal order granting protection to all Shwetambar Jains and their pilgrimage sites Image
In 1582, Emperor Akbar invited Acharya Hiravijaysuri to his court after witnessing 6 month upwas of Champa Shravika. The emperor was so impressed with Acharya Hiravijaysuri that he bestowed on him the title of Jagatguru which means World Teacher or the Preceptor of the World. Image
Akbar, issued a Firman (a royal mandate/ decree) declaring the land of Shatrunjay (Palitana), Girnar, Taranga, Kesariyaji, Abu, Rajgir and Sammed Shikharji to be handed over to Acharya Hirvijaysuri so that no one may kill any animal on these sacred places. Image
Shantidas Jhaveri retailed jewellery to the Mughals. As a court jeweller, Shantidas had access to the Mughal household and was addressed as mama (maternal uncle) by Shah Jahan. As the Subedarof Gujarat, Shah Jahan's son Murad Baksh granted Shatrunjay to Shantidas Jhaveri in 1656. Image

(1/10) The divine pratima of Sri #Shantinath Bhagwan from #Varahi.
On the evening of 24th Nov 1984, a 13 year old girl from Sadpur, Gujarat (near the Indo-Pak border) was digging behind the Hanuman Mandir when her shovel hit a metal idol a few feet beneath the surface!
#jainism Image
(2/10) To her surprise, a large beautiful idol in metal emerged along with 1 Chovisi, 8 small metal idols, 3 Dhup danis, one Aarti & Mangal Deepak. As the news spread, the Jain Sangh from Varahi situated near Sadpur requested the locals for the pratima but were refused. Image
(3/10) The pratimaji was kept under the custody of a local priest who had experienced divinity since the day the idol came under his custody - The undrinkable salty water from the well behind his home suddenly turned sweet & thus he was not ready to part away with the idol Image

(2/15) Spread over a vast area of 44 acres, right on the banks of Rujuvalika River, the 104 feet tall “Ashtabhadri Chaturmukh Praasaad” (Jinalay) was built with 1.25 lac cubic feet of white marble, with intricate carvings resembling those in Dilwara Mt. Abu and Ranakpur Tirths.
(3/15) The temple looks ethereal with its beautiful carvings on Gumbaj, Jalis, Gokhalas, Stambhas, Torans etc. Both the 41 feet Dhwajj Dand (flagpole) weighing 3800 kg and the 3000 kg Kalash on top of the Shikhar are plated with pure gold.

One day, her Jain employer forgot some stuff at the derasar (Jain temple), & asked him to collect it for her. He went there & was awestruck at the glimpse of the lord. This was the first time Devraj had seen the glory of Tirthankar prabhu. While returning he saw the notice board.
The notice in Kannada mentioned that the sangh was organising a Maskshaman Tapasya (Fasting for 30 days straight) - but Devraj misinterpreted it as Mas-Bhakshan (consumption of meat). He enquired the same to her employer who made her understand the Jain way of life
