Your first season? Don't know where to start? This post is for you!
The Beginner's Guide to #FPL 🥇

Fantasy Premier League works like any other fantasy league - build the team, and based on the performance of the players in reality you will get points that accumulate during the season. put together a team of 15 players (4 on the bench) as follows:

⚽️SQUAD⚽️
Everyone start the season with 100M£ which you can spend under the following restrictions:
Up to three players from each club.
2 Goal Keepers 🧤
5 Defenders 🛡️
5 Midfielders 🔗
3 Forwards ⚔️

Players with a high points total like Salah or Kane will cost a lot more then less explosive players. Prices this season range from £ 4M to £ 12.5M.
We want to combine premium players and complementary players to produce a team with maximum potential.

Once you have assembled a team, you will have to choose between the bench and the starting XI; the XI MUST include at least:
1 Forward
2 Mid
3 Def
1 GK

💸Prices💸
Prices will shift❗️ As the season progresses, player prices will go up and down based on:
Performance - over achieving will result in a price rise, under achieving will result in a price decrease
Transfers - a lot of transfers in = price goes up and vice versa.

Prices may change each night and every night. The forecast for who may drop or go up in price can be found here - fplstatistics.co.uk

You earn 0.1M for each 0.2M price rise in sell value, but you lose 0.1 for each 0.1 dropped.
Example:
Bought KDB at 12 ➡️ he goes up to 12.2 ➡️ we sell and get 12.1 back
Bought KDB at 12 ➡️ he goes down to 11.9 ➡️ we sell and get 11.9 back

🔄Transfers🔄
Until the season starts you can make as many transfers as you want!
Once the season starts, you will get one free transfer per game week. You can save one transfer and accumulate up to two, nothing more. Additional transfers will cost 4 points (taking a hit).

💺Bench💺
The 4 players you have on your bench will come in to play if one (or more) than your starting XI did not play by the order which you placed them (first on the bench, first to come in).
They must align with the formations rule (1 GK, 3 Def, 2 Mid, 1 For).

👨‍✈️Captaincy👨‍✈️
For each GW you will chose a captain and a vice captain. Captain earns you double the points of that player, Vice captain will be your captain in case the original one missed the match.

💯Points💯
Goal scored - 6 points (GK\Def), 5 points (Mid), 4 points (For).
Assists - 3 points.
Clean Sheet (CS) - 4 points (GK\Def), 1 point (Mid)
Saves - 3 saves = 1 point.
Red card: -2 points.
Yellow card: -one point.

Bonus Points (BPS)
Every single match, the "best" players accoring to the system will get additional bonus points:
Top player gets 3 points.
Second get 2 points.
Third get 1 point.

🃏Chips🃏
Each player will receive four chips, they can only be used ONCE:
Triple Captain - Triple points instead of double.
Bench Boost - You will receive the score of all 15 players in the squad instead of just the XI.

Free Hit - You can make as many transfers as you want without penalty for one GW, at the end of the GW you will return to your original team, the one before you made all the transfers.
Wild Card (X2) - You can make as many transfers as you want without penalty and keep the team.

Do not use chips without building a strategy around them‼
The chips are the most important thing in this game. Playing the first WC to jump on players after 4-5 games is usually key if you were way off with your starting team. The second WC (which you get after 19~ GW's) and...

the rest of the chips are used as a part of your stretgey in double GWs (teams play twice) and blank GWs (teams do not play at all) which usually starts towards March and its the best way to use them.
