Prime Minister Naftali Bennett held a discussion on the spread of the coronavirus, with emphasis on the Delta variant:

PM Bennett: "This depends on us. If we strictly adhere to the rules and act responsibly, we will succeed in this together."
Prime Minister Bennett directed the professional officials to make the decisions with maximum transparency while basing themselves on the data.

Prime Minister Naftali Bennett met this morning, at the Prime Minister's Office in Jerusalem, with Honduran President Juan Orlando Hernandez.

The leaders inaugurated the Honduran Embassy in Jerusalem. 🇮🇱🇭🇳

The leaders met privately and then held a working meeting with the participation of Foreign Minister Lapid, Honduran Secretary of State for Foreign Relations and International Cooperation Banegas, the Honduran Minister of the Presidency and the head of the Honduran tax authority.
Following the meeting, the foreign ministers signed a bilateral MOU regarding plans and projects in agriculture, water resource management, health and sharing information on developing innovation.

It infects at a 50% higher rate and I regret that we are also seeing that it is starting to spread in the State of Israel, including infections in the community in which we cannot always locate the source.

This past week, millions of Israelis were forced into bomb shelters as missiles rained down on our cities. Several Israelis have been killed. Many more have been wounded. You know and I know, no country would tolerate this. Israel will not tolerate this.
Israel has responded forcefully to these attacks and we will continue to respond forcefully until the security of our people is reinstated and restored.

I said that we would strike Hamas and the other terrorist organizations very hard – and we are doing just that. In the last 24 hours, we have attacked underground targets. Hamas thought that it could hide there but it cannot hide there.
Hamas senior officials think that they can flee from our strikes -- they cannot flee. We will reach them everywhere, all of these people, and we will continue to do so.
They attacked us on our holiday. They attacked our capital. They launched missiles at our cities. They are paying, and will pay, a very heavy price for this. This is not yet over. We will do everything to restore security to our cities and our people.

"I am here at one of the Iron Dome batteries. The commanders and soldiers are doing extraordinary work in defending the skies and citizens of Israel.
PM Netanyahu: "Achieving 100% is impossible but they are getting pretty close to it and we all appreciate this twice over: Defensively and offensively.
The defensive actions of Iron Dome batteries give us space to mount attacks. The IDF has already attacked hundreds of targets and we will soon pass 1,000.
