Prime Minister Naftali Bennett attended the IAF pilot's course graduation ceremony today at the Hatzerim airbase.
"It is our responsibility to maintain the safety of the State of Israel, to guarantee its existence. On this, there are no, and will be no, compromises.
Each and every Israeli prime minister, from Ben Gurion, through Begin, until today, has had one sacred duty as a guide: We will not allow an existential threat to loom over the State of Israel.
The years go by and our adversaries change and advance.
Then it was Iraq, today, Iran. The level of sophistication and determination of our enemies has increased.
But they appreciate, not from statements but from actions, that our determination is many times stronger than theirs, that we are many times over more sophisticated than them, and we do not hesitate to act when needed. Not in the past and not today.
We would like the world to understand that the Iranian regime is violent and fanatical. It selected the Hangman of Tehran as its president—a man who is willing to starve his own people for years in order to have a military nuclear program.
That is a regime that one should not do business with.
Regrettably, that is not the case.
We will continue to consult with our friends, persuade, discuss, and share information and insights out of mutual respect.
But at the end of the day, we will be responsible for our own fate, nobody else.
We will act responsibly and solemnly, and safeguard the immense treasure we have been given to us as a safekeeping.

PM Bennett: "Alongside this, we want to minimize harm to routine life in the country. Therefore, we have decided to take action as soon as possible, even now, in order not to pay a heavier price later, by taking quick and responsible actions.
PM Bennett: "This depends on us. If we strictly adhere to the rules and act responsibly, we will succeed in this together."
Prime Minister Naftali Bennett visited Ben-Gurion International Airport, this evening, toured the testing facility and held an assessment regarding the coronavirus.
Prime Minister Naftali Bennett:
"The spread of the Delta variant is currently accelerating throughout the world in many countries, with a rate of infection that is much higher than we have known.
It infects at a 50% higher rate and I regret that we are also seeing that it is starting to spread in the State of Israel, including infections in the community in which we cannot always locate the source.
PM Benjamin Netanyahu:
"It has been 5 days since Hamas brazenly fired rockets at Jerusalem and other Israeli cities in a totally unprovoked attack. This past week, millions of Israelis were forced into bomb shelters as missiles rained down on our cities."
This past week, millions of Israelis were forced into bomb shelters as missiles rained down on our cities. Several Israelis have been killed. Many more have been wounded. You know and I know, no country would tolerate this. Israel will not tolerate this.
Israel has responded forcefully to these attacks and we will continue to respond forcefully until the security of our people is reinstated and restored.
I said that we would strike Hamas and the other terrorist organizations very hard – and we are doing just that. In the last 24 hours, we have attacked underground targets. Hamas thought that it could hide there but it cannot hide there.
Hamas senior officials think that they can flee from our strikes -- they cannot flee. We will reach them everywhere, all of these people, and we will continue to do so.
They attacked us on our holiday. They attacked our capital. They launched missiles at our cities. They are paying, and will pay, a very heavy price for this. This is not yet over. We will do everything to restore security to our cities and our people.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visited an Iron Dome battery in central Israel
Prime Minister Netanyahu:
"I am here at one of the Iron Dome batteries. The commanders and soldiers are doing extraordinary work in defending the skies and citizens of Israel.
PM Netanyahu: "Achieving 100% is impossible but they are getting pretty close to it and we all appreciate this twice over: Defensively and offensively.
The defensive actions of Iron Dome batteries give us space to mount attacks. The IDF has already attacked hundreds of targets and we will soon pass 1,000.
