Over 80 Miami-Dade Fire Rescue crews at a partial building collapse in Surfside this morning... no word yet on any injuries or fatalities if any.

We will be on @cbsmiami starting at 4:30am with live reports from the scene.

We do know that responding crews include technical rescue teams... they are specially trained in treating and removing victims trapped in spaces like this. @cbsmiami

Miami Beach Police confirming the address of the building: 8777 Collins Avenue.

That is the Champlain Towers, built 40 years ago in 1981.

Our @BrookeShaferTV reporting on @CBSMiami right now that sources confirm to our news team that at least one person has been killed in the partial building collapse in Surfside.

NEW: At least 9 people transported to area hospitals. Still waiting on more information on the number of injured, extent of injuries, and how many might be trapped inside.
