Vivian Xie has become one of University of Toronto’s youngest grads at just the age of 16.

“Sometimes I myself forget what age I am.”

thestar.com/news/gta/2021/…
Despite beginning her post-secondary education at 12, her university life has been “really normal,” Xie said, excluding the drinking, going to bars and driving. thestar.com/news/gta/2021/…
The subject of her age rarely came up unless she mentioned it, or professors happened to hear about it.

“If you looked at it from a perspective where you didn’t know my age, you probably wouldn’t be able to tell that I was any different.” thestar.com/news/gta/2021/…

On this week’s #GTAHomeHunt, we look at a condo in West Queen West that could potentially go for under $500,000.

Why is it priced? A big reason is due to past issues with the building developers — Urbancorp — which filed for bankruptcy in 2016. torstar.co/D7LV50FhS33
The unit is estimated to go for about $550,000, but real estate agent Othneil Litchmore says it could be negotiated down and will likely go for the current listed price due to past issues with the building developers. thestar.com/business/perso…
“You can get a deal here because the pool of buyers is smaller and due to previous issues with the building developers,” said Litchmore. “Buildings can turn themselves around.” thestar.com/business/perso…

Yes, live outdoor concerts return to Ontario next week, but venue owners are still confused about reopening rules

NEW from @starbeer:
thestar.com/business/2021/…
The owner of the Horseshoe Tavern says shows at the venue are likely months away at best, even though indoor concerts could be allowed by late July and outdoor concerts by next week as part of Ontario’s COVID-19 reopening plan. thestar.com/business/2021/…
While the reopening plan will allow outdoor concerts in Step 2 and indoor shows in Step 3 “with spectator capacity restrictions,” not knowing precise conditions under which they’ll operate makes planning difficult, said Horseshoe Tavern owner Jeff Cohen. thestar.com/business/2021/…
