A colleague pointedly asked, after viewing the flawed modeling of the OST, whether there were any ethics left in the medical sciences. What they observed would be tantamount to fraud in the financial industry. 1/
Their argument was that models are designed on three basic precepts, none of which were followed. Models are usually viewed as"instructional" and "iterative" with experimental observations. The OST views it as a fortune telling exercise, something akin to astrology. 2/
Modeling is one of many failures by the OST and by extension Ontario public health. Lets face it, technology isn't their thing and they just seem to be winging it. This approach has served Ontario poorly and the economy suffers accordingly. 3/
Other provinces have a better grip on how to apply technology to public health responses. It's probably why BC, Alberta and Saskatchewan are finished with C19 and moving on with life. Ontario in contrast drowns in a home grown disaster. 4/
Its long overdue for the OST and Ontario Public Health to seek help. Time to give Bonnie Henry a call and to figure out BC's secret sauce. Time to abandon Ontario's failed public health response. End.

There are simple truths to C19.

1) C19 isn't a serious viral threat except to those traditionally vulnerable to respiratory viruses.

2) C19 doesn't fit the classic definition of a pandemic. The IFR is slight above the flu but generally unexceptional.

1/
3) Gov't spent the bank, in Canada's case close to a trillion dollars.

4) Public health policies have largely failed. Lockdowns have been a fiasco.

5) Gov't responses caused wide spread unemployment, destroyed small business, education, health care and charter rights.

3/
It isn't hard to figure out.

Gov't wildly miscalculated risk and massively overreacted. Yes, it's embarrassing and harms, including unnecessary death, have been wide spread. Society should admit its mistakes and take corrective action.

More homework Team Reality. Another remarkable podcast from Trish Woods, this time with Julius Ruechel who systematically dismantles, using data and systematic analysis, the cryptic behavior of Canadian Public Health Officials. 1/

The conclusion isn't pretty and it speaks to a public health agency, out of control, without direction, and in full cover up mode. There is no rational explanation for many of their actions and Mr. Ruechel's intellect in piercing and accurate. 2/
This interview builds on a series of well referenced research manuscripts that can be found on Mr. Ruechel's website. They detailed, entertaining and bold in thought. 3/

At three hours, this Brett Weinstein podcast is a commitment but very enlightening. His guests, mix it up and discuss the mRNA vaccines in detail, from design, to regulation, to adverse effects. It's eye opening and deeply concerning. 1/

It's impossible to hide, there are adverse problems with the mRNA vaccines. The alarm bells are ringing but the FDA can't cope as they are understaffed. Add to the mix, peer pressure in medicine and basic market dynamics and you get the current mess....2/
But perhaps most alarming is how medicine is unable to react to the growing crisis. Safetyism and top down conformity has made it almost impossible to respond. Regulatory burden is simply crushing free thought....3/

Heartening to see more voices in the medical sciences break through and call the C19 response for what it is. A "fiasco" defined by its theatre. But lets consider whether the word "fiasco" properly captures the entirety of this deeply unsettling mess. 1/

For months, people have documented the unparalleled collateral harms of lockdown. It's not difficult work, one just has to look. The economic, social and educational deprivation have no equivalent in modern Canadian history. The volume and depth of work grows by the day....2/
A sizable portion of the public is markedly aware of this data and the neccessity to "change course". But others aren't, they continue to be crippled by fear from an ever lurking and dangerous virus......3/

Trish Wood's interview of Scott Atlas is just superb. A critical analysis of how public health and the media completely failed the citizenry. The incompetence and ineptitude of our public structures is shocking and a real call to arms. 1/

On a weekend, where our timid, frightened leaders permit the public the mildest of pleasures, I have a suggestion for owners of restaurants and brews pubs. Put this podcast on a perpetual loop and let your patrons hear the truth. 2/
It's hard not to be emotional as one realizes how tragically wrong our public health community has been. These discussions are difficult and they aren't going away. They are a festering sore and one only treated by a full public inquiry. 3/

Remember, there are two parts to the C19 origin story, "where and when did it occur". Having reasonably ascertained "where" (lab leak), the question unanswered is "when". Perhaps, its time to make an educated guess. 1/
It seems clear in retrospect that our public health communities have attempted to spread C19 infection over two "flu" seasons to build herd immunity. Then show up with a below average vaccine at the end and claim victory. 2/
If correct, then arguably the Chinese might have done the same thing (although with lockdowns as the dramatic end point). Working backwards, this would place the "when" of C19 origin somewhere in late 2018 and early 2019. 3/
