You MUST read this story. @tjhsstptsa members voted its first Black president-elect to office, @HarryJ4Justice, a brave advocate against the new anti-Asian admissions process. @VirginiaPTA wasn’t going to stand for that. You won’t believe what they did. 👀 freebeacon.com/campus/virgini…
🤦🏻♀️@VirginiaPTA wants a voting seat for principal @TJAnnB “who in a June email asked parents to check their ‘privileges.’” They back the PTSA pres who “works for a law firm @arnoldporter that represents @TJAlumniAG, which backed the elimination of the entrance exam” #corruption

🚨ACTION ALERT. @DefendingEd created a portal where Fairfax County residents can send a message to @FCPSSupt Scott Brabrand, FCPS School Board's 12 members + new Chief Equity Officer @LisaLwilliams13
to express their opposition to the the biased survey.
🤯@DefendingEd FOIA revealed @fcpsnews signed a $49,600 Feb. 8 purchase order with @LeadershipAcad_ to do “Anti-Bias Community Engagement Policy,” including a “survey.” THEN March 11, it signed a 4-year contract that could add up to $700,000+

MUST READ @USATODAY chronicles the national movement against teaching hateful critical race theory to kids. One thing: it's not just "Republicans." @aliaemily cites new @DefendingEd poll that reveals MOST folks oppose racist ideas of critical race theory. usatoday.com/story/news/edu…
Media needs to stop pigeonholing this as "conservative." @USATODAY@aliaemily recognizes: "A recent poll by @DefendingEd found more than two-thirds of respondents "opposed schools teaching that America was founded on racism + is structurally racist." defendinged.org/press-releases…
The @USATODAY piece acknowledges: "Close to 3 in 4 respondents said schools shouldn't teach students that white people are inherently privileged and people of color inherently oppressed."
JUST IN. @fcpsnews whistleblower sent @DefendingEd the questions teachers got in the SHAM survey @FCPSSupt sent out last week -- cowritten by consultant @NYCLeadership.
Agree or disagree? "I have what I need to carry our an anti-racist and anti-biased education." #leading#scam
Agree or disagree? 16. I regularly examine how my beliefs, biases, and role may contribute to or replicate inequitable practices. 17. I purposefully learn about the multiple identities of my students, families, and communities to inform my decision-making and actions.
We filed this report today @DefendingEd exposing more critical race theory indoctrination in @fcpsnews. Findings: FCPS already paid NYC Leadership Academy $48,500 since Oct 2020. They signed a "Notice of Award" that would be worth 100s of 1000s of dollars. defendinged.org/incidents/crt-…
I'm about to go to the FCPS school board meeting to ask the tough questions in person. Wish me luck. My head is about to explode. FCPS is refusing to answer a simple question about how much they paid for a survey today to push critical race theory on kids.
I’m at the FCPS school board meeting. What hypocrisy. This is from @Keys_Gamarra acting like she cares about Asian Americans when she led the anti-Asian campaign, calling our TJHSST families and students “toxic” and racist.
Teachers lectured students, who are 70% Asian, 10% Black, Hispanic + multiracial & 20% white, about “intersectionality” + called out the mostly minority students of color for their “racism.”
Watch a @TJAlumniAG activist tell students not to salsa.
TJ principal Ann Bonitatibus @TJAnnB calls the presentation "created by students." She claims: “There is no critical race theory training with students.” Read the FOIA👇🏽to see how she + staff were directly involved with the training as far back as Aug 2020 defendinged.org/incidents/blm_…
🚨IMPT point from @DefendingEd Nicole Neily in @WSJopinion: “New York’s Selective Public Schools Aren’t Only for the Wealthy.
More than 60% of the students at Brooklyn Tech High School + nearly half the students at Stuyvesant High School live in poverty.”
🧵Writes Nicole Neily @DefendingEd: “@MoskowitzEva makes an excellent point that New York City students suffer from a shortage of good schools (“Great Schools Are the Solution to Educational ‘Segregation,’ ” Cross Country, April 12).”
“But we shouldn’t make the mistake of viewing the city’s selective schools as disproportionately composed of the children of affluent white families.”
