1/This thread will expose police capture, and as I continue, evidence will be produced on this issue and on how corrupt the Commissioner General of Police, Matanga, is. It’s no wonder we can’t deal with corruption when the top cop is involved in this and many other corrupt deals.
2/This is just another case as I’ve highlighted some before, and the evidence will come through.
Here we have an issue involving USD2million dollars which was stopped in Budapest, Hungary. It was the Drax payment for covid-19 PPEs which was valued at no more than USD200k
3/ It’s the same Drax matter which led to the former Health Minister, Dr. Obadiah Moyo’s arrest and firing from office. It also involves Nguwaya, where it’s alleged there’s no case.
The inflated amount of USD2million was sent from ZimTreasury to pay for goods worth USD200k.
4/ The matter being under investigation, then Assistant Commissioner Obeylaw Moyo, Deputy Director CID, Commercial Crimes Unit issued a letter stopping the transfer of funds into the Drax nominated bank account
5/ As we all now know, Drax, represented by Nguwaya, had inflated the cost of the goods and the Finance Secretary, George Guvamatanga, had refused to sign for the transaction. This is where the issue was.
6/ Authority to have the funds transferred into the Drax account was then required, but Assistant Commissioner Moyo had already issued a directive instructing that the money be returned to Zimbabwe pending investigations so that Drax could not have access to it in the meantime.
7/ Subsequently and in order to override the directive from Moyo, Delish Nguwaya, in cahoots with Matanga, then undertook to have another letter written for the release of the funds into the Drax nominated account in Budapest.
8/ Moyo however, stood in the way of this devious plan being hatched. Not pleased with Moyo’s decision, to block the transfer of funds, flimsy charges were instigated, allegedly at the behest of Matanga, against Moyo and he was subsequently arrested.
9/ Police Intelligence were however, hot on the trail and had instituted damning investigations and so others had to fall. The next target was one of the top Intelligence police officers, Senior Assistant Commissioner Douglas Nyakutsikwa.
10/ Nyakutsikwa, a war veteran, and probably one of the most experienced intelligence officers in the country was then arrested on trumped up charges and for anyone following the case, you will note that nothing much is progressing on the matter as there’s no case.
11/ This is also where the Magistrates Court seems to be involved through Nguwaya who is alleged to run a parallel structure which controls the Harare Magistrates Court, Prosecution and the Police. The influence, although minimal, is also believed to exist in the CIO too.
12/ Nguwaya failed to penetrate the army as they’ve no time for him.
Assistant Commissioner Chrispen Charumbira, the then CID Director, in his capacity as the link to Interpol, was then approached, allegedly by Matanga, to issue a letter authorising the release of funds to Drax
13/ By the way, the desperation for the release of funds to Drax was premised on the understanding that as soon as the funds hit the account, the USD200k was to go towards the cost of the actual goods and the balance of the spoils was to be shared amongst themselves.
14/ Charumbira however, refused to pen such letter authorising the release of the funds to the Budapest account and he was subsequently targeted too on flimsy charges, again, allegedly at the behest of Matanga.
15/ Senior Assistant Commissioner Moses Magande, another one of the most experienced police officers, who had served as Intelligence Director before Nyakutsikwa as well as serving as Midlands Propol was subsequently approached to draft the letter authorising the release of funds.
16/ However, he too refused. Failing to trump up charges against him, he was subsequently instructed to retire in August. This paved the way for Matanga to appoint Assistant Commissioner Nyabasa , his homeboy from Manicaland, giving Matanga free reign to send him to do his deeds
17/ But what Nyabasa doesn’t realise is this matter is under investigation, it is before the courts, therefore, that money cannot be released.
18/ Any Police Director, or indeed anybody, who writes a letter directing for the release of the funds whilst the matter is before the courts will be implicated and face arrest.
Hopefully that serves as a warning to anybody contemplating getting involved in such a manner.
19/ So, this is not a matter that has been swept under the carpet, or is under the radar. The nation and the world are watching how the matter is progressing, hence I have this information.
20/ This is an example of the level of corruption that exists within the ranks of some in the police force. This is how and why we’ve witnessed seasoned and experienced top officers being targeted with impunity.
21/ The corruption and unholy alliance with Matanga is what gives Nguwaya the brazenness to declare an officer will be arrested and the next day it materialises. Mutamba also, fell victim to the disfavour of Nguwaya, look what befell him too.
22/This corruption&purging of experienced members of the force has resulted in the weak, inexperienced force we have today. Levels of corruption are so high it allows room for a miscreant like Nguwaya to capture the ZRP CG, some at Harare Magistrates Court and some in Prosecution
23/ I’ve written to the Justice Minister on investigating Nguwaya, when, as the complainant, he surreptitiously visited his accused in prison for purposes of extorting him. Felix Munyaradzi, the accused, was subsequently released from prison after giving in to Nguwaya’s demands
24/This is a matter on record&yet nothing was done despite the letter with evidence going to the Justice Minister and Commisioner of Prisons questioning how a complainant could visit an accused in prison unaccompanied and in the absence of official paperwork documenting the visit
25/ This would imply people have the capacity to go as far as leave prison without documentation as was witnessed when I exposed Kereke had been bribing officials to the extent that he impregnated a woman and had a child whilst incarcerated.
26/ Keeping my exposure of Kereke in mind, should serve as a reminder or indicator that I do not bring matters to the public domain where I do not have irrefutable evidence or which I cannot substantiate and which isn’t true.
27/ This is a serious cartel. With the PG, whether you write to him or not, he doesn’t respond to issues and you’re left wondering where we are going. Any issue that implicates Nguwaya, they don’t respond as does the ZRP CG.
28/ The question is, Nguwaya has many dockets opened against him at the courts but there’s nothing been done about them, why? Is it that they want the matters hushed so that they have room to continue with their underhand deals with Nguwaya?
29/ We must not be a country that is all talk and does not act, the level of corruption is unprecedented. I’ll leave it at this for now, the next I’ll talk on this matter is when I expose the corruption of the CG with evidence that I’ll publish here for you to be the judge.
30/ Even if they try to hide, this the court of public opinion, is aware and will not forget….

force a refresh
1/ A great coach and central defender in his time, Misheck was a marvel to watch. I worked with him with the Warriors when he was the Head Coach and Gibson Homela was the TD and the team’s fitness levels were the highest ever achieved.
2/I enjoyed the experience of being in camp under his lead as he was strict&majored in ensuring things were done in an orderly fashion. Unfortunately, whilst such legends contribute immensely to our country, their passing exposes the lack of national contribution to their welfare
3/ @KirstyCoventry what are we doing as a country to celebrate and acknowledge such greats during their lifetimes? In other counties these are the veterans of the sporting arena. We must come up with our Heroes Acre for these sporting veterans
1/ I’ve it on good authority this release was a result of the political connections they enjoy. I’ve said it appears to be an online publication controlled by some members of CIO & funded by the likes of Minister Mudha & many other senior & influential people, hence the release
2/Looking at the statement I submitted, what investigation is required against a story penned by them&based on falsehoods? Look at the difference when journos who don’t exaggerate as much like @daddyhope are arrested&persecuted with investigations taking place whilst incarcerated
3/ Hopewell, the EU, Britain & America all talk about selective application of the law and human rights abuses, and when you witness incidents like this, you’re forced to agree with them. If I have to seek private prosecution, I will, but let it go on record.
1/ In our culture the issue of tsvimbo& handing it down is very important. Much as there’s a lot of westernisation, our country is still very spiritual. So for as long as Spirit Mediums aren’t happy, as a country we’ll not get where we want to be. They feel they’ve been neglected
2/ Spirit Mediums played a major role in the liberation of this country and yet lack the requisite recognition. We acknowledge the church during National prayer days, and thank them for occurrences like good rains, but not “masvikiro”, when will they too be thanked?
3/ As the 1st born boy in our family, when our father passed on, ndakapiwa tsvimbo; it’s an important aspect of our culture that can’t be ignored. So if a father passes on and leaves their son tsvimbo, what’s more a country when a leader dies? Surely he should pass one on too?
1/ jctvzim.com/anne-nhira-for…
Another sad loss to hit the arts & entertainment industry. My sincerest condolences to the family of the late Anne Nhira. In recognition of her contributions to the industry and March as Women’s month, isn’t she suitable to be made a Provincial Hero?
2/ Unless of course Soul Jah Love was conferred for performing at @ZANUPF_Official rallies? Anne appeared on state media, doesn’t that qualify her too? A YARDER who attended the last @YARDzim2023 public lecture and as a young, talented female she should be conferred the status
3/ I don’t dispute Soul Jah Love’s popularity & the mark he made; I enjoyed his music too, but I would want to know why the late Anne Nhira couldn’t be given Provincial Hero status and what the selection criteria is?
1/ Yesterday in Parly, I questioned why there have been increases in school fees. Private schools, Trust schools have been increasing fees. How do you justify this increase when children haven’t been to school & parents’ income has been adversely affected by the COVID pandemic
2/ Granted there’s been online learning but how does it reconcile with physical absence? The debate has been raging, this is stealing money from people. I know the parents can’t speak, but I represent everybody in the country much in the same way I’d represent the Chilonga people
3/This is a topical issue and the private schools are victimising parents and their children for speaking out. I think we need to tackle this head on. Private schools need to be brought before a Parly Committee to be asked to justify school fee increases when it’s online learning
1/ I note politicians crossing floors and joining @ZANUPF_Official but the question is, which ZANU-PF are they joining? I continue to maintain, it’s no longer the ZANU-PF we all once knew.
2/ When the likes of, Jabulani Sibanda, Mai Mujuru, Rugare Gumbo, Ray Kaukonde, Mushore, Bvundura, etc, go back to ZANU-PF, then you know it’s the ZANU-PF we once knew; the real deal. For now it’s an ignominy
3/ A ZANU-PF yana Mudha nana July Moyo ingave ZANU-PF here? Aiwa, no! These are examples of those who’ve destroyed the Party, who can’t even win elections in Midlands.
