We’ve released a technical article highlighting the waves of #COVID19 infection in England.

There is no strict definition for when a wave starts and ends – it is estimated using the reproduction rate (R), the growth rate and the positivity rate ow.ly/pIrk50FkEIR
There were two waves of #COVID19 between Mar 2020 and May 2021 in England.

We estimate the first wave started in Mar 2020 and ended in late May 2020.
