If you're writing IELTS to come to Canada as a permanent resident, you will do the General Training test

Try to also work towards CLB 9 & above (in IELTS this is at least Listening - 8, others 7)

CLB means Canadian Language Benchmark, and that's what your IELTS is converted to.

As of today, you will spend AT LEAST $2,050 CAD to process a permanent residence application in Canada (by yourself) as a skilled immigrant.

If you want to do a Masters/PhD in Canada, and you really need a scholarship, you should consider applying to these 15 schools. (We call them U15).

Below, you will see links to ALL the Masters/PhD programs they have.

Check the requirements, apply, and share with others.

Thread
There are entrance scholarships in most (if not all) of the schools, and you don't need a separate application for this.

- You are considered based on info/docs submitted for admission
- The scholarship condition, amount, and availability may depend on the program applied for.
The U15 are Canada's heavy-pocket universities. They

- Receive 79% of all allocated funding
- Undertake 80% of all Canadian research worth $8.5 billion yearly
- Contribute more than $36 billion to the Canadian economy yearly
- Produce more than 75% of all Doctorates awarded.

Moving to Canada is not what anyone can tell you to simply bring xxx amount & wait for visa to be delivered

In Canada, there is no “total package” is xxxx.

Anyone telling you to just bring money is trying to swindle you.

There are parts of the process you must handle yourself.
In Canadian immigration there’s also no “easiest, fastest, cheapest way to Canada”

Like @officialgbegbin once said, the only easier way to Canada is to only dream about it

What we have in Canada are immigration programs, over 100 of them with different requirements & procedures
The over 100 Canadian immigration programs are also why you don’t just wake up and choose a program. No be like that

You must FIRST identify what you QUALIFY for. This is important!

When planning to move to Canada, 3 boxes to check are

-Interest
-Eligibility
-Financial ability
