DAY THREE: The IGAD Regional #WomensLandRights Conference for the past two days has strived towards establishing accountability mechanisms for monitoring implementation of IGAD Member States Women’s land Rights Agenda.
Today the conference aims to establish and strengthen a multi-stakeholder platform on gender and land for knowledge sharing and peer learning that is grounded in the experiences and realities of each country of the IGAD Region. #WomensLandRights
Ms. Asma Mudathir Elfaki, the Head of Gender Unit in the Ministry of Agriculture Sudan says the Sudan Interim Constitution (2019) guarantees the rights of women, non- discrimination, and equal treatment of women in all spheres of life. #WomensLandRights
