1-The Islamic Republic of Iran wants to execute a Mohsen Kheiri, who was arrested during #IranProtests of Nov 2019. Mohsen gave forced confessions under torture to vandalising public property, while this is not the case. Don't let Mohsen die.
2-In fact, there are clearly documented cases of Islamic Republic of Iran’s security agents destroying public property in order to falsely accuse protesters of vandalism. Their goal is to tarnish protesters who have a genuine reason to protest
3-Mohsen was not entitled to a fair trial and didn’t have the right to defend himself. The hasty nature through which the regime wants to execute him is very similar to how they executed Navid Afkari, innocent athlete who had also participated in #IranProtests.

This little girl was forced to wear hijab to go to school in Iran. Her mum told me she still didn’t get used to it & still hates it.
I myself like millions of Iranian girls was forced from the age of 7 to wear hijab. But nobody wants to hear our stories in the 21st century. Why?
2-This is my experience with compulsory hijab
Left: The time when the Islamic Republic had taken my childhood hostage with compulsory hijab
Right: The time when I freed myself from forced hijab and reclaimed the lost years of my childhood by drawing a butterfly on my face
3-Many people believe that compulsory hijab just a small issue. But it actually isn't a "small issue".
Many of us, Iranian women, have been told from our childhood to be second class citizens, that our bodies are sinful objects, that we should hide ourselves from prying eyes
1-Left: Journalist & dissident Ruhollah Zam, abducted by the Islamic Republic of Iran
Right: Journalist & dissident, Roman Protasevich, abducted by Belarus
The EU forcefully condemned Belarus (rightfully so) and ponders sanctions. But refuses to do so for Iran. Why?
2-While many Iranians wholeheartedly support the EU pressure on Belarus, they're also disappointed that the Islamic Republic of Iran, despite having a far worse track record of abducting & executing dissidents, was not exposed to the same level of concerted pressure by the EU.
3-For the record, the Islamic Republic executed innocent Ruhollah Zam, who was kidnapped into Iran from Iraq by the Revolutionary Guards. He was tortured and then executed. Somehow, EU is still pondering trade with the regime rather than rebuking it. bbc.com/news/world-mid…
Rest in peace Alireza Fazeli Monfared. This 20-year-old beautiful soul from Iran was brutally killed by his brother & cousins for being gay as part of an honour killing.
Iran's LGBTQ community is brutalised both by the regime & by bigotry in certain families
2-Alireza was killed by being beheaded by his family. After beheading him, the family dumped this poor man's body under a tree outside of the city of Ahwaz. Alireza was about to flee Iran to join his boyfriend, who's a refugee waiting for him in Turkey.
3-Through its homophobic laws, anti-gay propaganda, and light sentences for honour killings, the Islamic Republic of Iran is responsible for facilitating the murder of countless members of the LGBTQ community in Iran. This community is yearning to be heard by the world
1- To @SecBlinken
I was saddened to note that on World Press Freedom day, you refrained from condemning the Islamic Republic of Iran's egregious violations of press freedom and instead focused on Turkey, China, Egypt & Russia as jailers of journalists. This is unacceptable
2-Last year, the Islamic republic kidnapped Ruhollah Zam from Iraq to Iran where he was executed. Zam's crime was to expose corruption in Iran as part of his work as a journalist. He was innocent
3-According to World Press Freedom Index of @RSF_inter,IRI has one of the most repressive environments for journalists ranking 174 out of 180 countries. Journalists are routinely arrested, forced to make false confessions, are exposed to physical abuse & forced to live in exile.
1-Please don't miss a single video of Yasaman Aryani in this thread, an inspirational heroic woman of Iran.
See how many anti-women laws she broke for freedom
Civil disobedience is in her DNA. She’s in jail. Before being jailed, she'd asked me to be her voice #WhiteWednesdays
2- When I first launched My Stealthy Freedom campaign against forced hijab in 2014, she sent me a video of herself walking unveiled in one of the busiest areas of Tehran. She made a sacrifice to urge more women to join the campaign for their rights
3- She risked a lot as being unveiled is a punishable crime in the Islamic Republic. Later, she sent another video of herself riding a bicycle without her compulsory hijab. She was committing 2 crimes -- being unveiled & riding a bike as a woman

1-To those who labelled recent protesters of Iran's #Sistan_Balochistan province "mobs and smugglers". Let me tell you some stories about the pains that these people have suffered.
Does this child look like a mobster?
2-He was killed 2 years ago by the regime when they stormed into his house looking for his uncle. Without following any protocol, they randomly fired shots at the entire family killing this child, Mostafa, & his dad in the process. They knew very well there’d be no accountability
3-How about this child? Her name was Hosna Bamri. When security forces were on the lookout for a suspect, they shot indiscriminately and killed 4 people including little Hosna. No-one has been brought to justice.
